Unfortunately, I had a very poor booking experience with this company. I booked for July in April. I was told on the booking site that it was "prepay at hotel". It was a very expensive reservation over the holiday weekend. The same day I received an email from the hotel stating they charged a 50% "deposit" to hold the room - never mentioned beforehand. When I reached out to ask for a refund of my deposit, I was told to cancel the reservation to receive the deposit back. Ok. I was treated very poorly during the cancellation process by whoever was writing the (unsigned) emails: they wrote I "misunderstood", "obviously", and that I was a "Karen"! ("Karen is a pejorative slang term for an obnoxious, angry, entitled, and often racist middle-aged white woman who uses her privilege to get her way or police other people's behaviors.") Whoever is writing the emails for the company needs some customer service training - hopefully it's not the owner(s): John J and Dwain U are the new owners of the Inn as of September 18, 2013

If you are looking for a personalized experience in OGT. This is the place to go. The chef was amazing. While the menu was very limited we knew this coming in. We appreciated the menu as we knew everything was going to be fresh and made to order. I had the rainbow trout (which I would normally never get) but again since the menu was small I knew this is the place to try it. It was delicious. My husband and I will definitely be going back and we really enjoyed every part of this.

Otherwise, I don't write reviews, but this one deserves it.I know they are new restoran in tow , so they deserve the best!The dinner I had at The Black Boar Inn will remain in my memories for a long time.From the friendly atmosphere, the wonderful chef who informs us adequately about the food we are eating.I've been to a lot of places in Ogunquito, but definitely the best dinner I had was right here.I have no complaints, everything is delicious, made at a really top level!Thank you, I will be back for sure! ????

We had an bacon wraped Salmon and duck confit. Was absolutely outstanding! Best meal I’ve had in Ogt! amazing stuff and incredibly talented chef made our experience even better for a complete 5+ stars night! Thanks much, will be back everytime we around! ??

We had an amazing meal at the Black Boar Bistro! The atmosphere in the Inn Dino g room is so cozy and inviting and Dwain and his crew really create a lovely and memorable experience. The food was fresh and fantastic. Highly recommend.

This historic small Inn in Ogunquit is in the center of town. Claudine, the manager is amazing. She engaged us and cooked an incredible dinner for 10 of us and accommodated all of our requests. Our continental breakfast was great. Rooms were comfortable and the cozy living room and dining room were very inviting. Great value! Will definitelybreturn.

Location is excellent but that’s it!!! Antique home poorly renovated… everything is cheaply done … awful coffee just continental breakfast… fruit yogurt pastry from supermarkets they say because of Covid restrictions yet they serve dinner Thursday - Sunday… Did not enjoy stay at all … would not recommend at any price
