My husband & I came in for dinner Saturday night 9/27. Noah greeted us. We told him the restaurant was recommended from a person in Kennybunkport. We had to give it a try. This restaurant has excellent specialty rolls. Everything was very fresh. We had the lobster roll with crab, Crunchy Mango madness, & Green eggs and ham.
Noah did an excellent job preparing all the rolls we ordered and by the 2nd roll it was so good that I would allow Noah to make anything he would recommend.
We had no intention of eating as much as we did, but it was so good that we kept telling him to make another roll on the menu. We will definitely recommend this restaurant to our friends & family. We really enjoyed our time there and will be back.

We had an amazing time at Black Sushi House! Noah went well out of his way to create a special evening for my family and I on the occasion of my birthday. He prepared a special salad and a customized scallop dish for us, followed by the most delicious nigiri I have had outside of Japan. The specialty rolls were top notch and what stood out was the freshness and presentation of the plates, along with Noah’s naturally engaging self. A memorable dining experience that I would gladly recommend to anyone who values great sushi in a warm and welcoming location. I’m already looking forward to the next time!

The absolute best tuna Poke Bowl anywhere!!! I've tried many types of poke bowl but this one is way above all the others. And this is such an inconspicuous place, right beside the famous Leavitt Theatre. And, you can bring your own wine! The staff were really cool, with great advice. Great decor as well. Quite simply, a great experience! Highly recommended!

How good can good be? The place is Massively good. The vibe is awesome. The food is killer. The fish is so so fresh. Like wow. I almost hate leaving a review this good because the place should be jammed. I mean it’s just awesome.

Among the best sushi I've ever had, and I have pretty high standards for sushi! We went on a busy night when they were short staffed and the staff were very kind and up front about there being a wait. This was a standout on our Maine vacation and top of our list for places to go back to when we're in the area. If you're burnt out on the same seafood places with fried seafood, lobster rolls, chowders, etc., and want to enjoy a something different while still taking advantage of the access to fresh seafood, check it out!

Oh man this was my first time trying this place. I had to get take out but the casco bay roll was insane! I always go for anything scallop and there were big juicy pieces on top. Incredible with the lobster and crab underneath. Crunchy mango roll is just beautifully balanced - super fresh, a little sweet, nice crunch on top. I’m a very happy birthday girl.
