I ordered a quarter sheet mocha mousse cake for my wife's milestone birthday. We had about eighteen people and there was plenty to honor requests for seconds and into the next couple of days. It's a good thing because it got RAVE reviews. Many said it was the best cake they ever had. And the bakers did a beautiful job with the decorating. It was a great way to end the celebration. My late mother was a professional baker so I have a well trained sweet tooth and high expectations. This cake checked all the boxes. I'm going to refer to it as Death Row Cake because if I ever end up there this will definitely be on my last meal menu request.

Can't rave enough about this place. I'm from Philly and have been to many bakery/coffee shops in Maine since moving here. Bread and roses is by far my favorite. And honestly the pastries rival my favorite Italian bakeries back in Philly

In the area and was looking to grab a cup of
coffee, decided to give this place a try. Well let’s just say it was nothing special and very overpriced $13 for a coffee and danish.

Apple Pie's crust was soggy, very bland and tasteless, no reason to eat it. Worst pie in 70 years. Your basic 7-dollar apple pie from your grocery store is far superior, total waste of $70.00.

this was such a cute cafe. it is a small building with an open window that you order to, similar to a coffee shop. i can see how that might affect business or turn people off during bad weather. luckily i went during great weather so it was no issue. they have a little trailer for both drinks and food which i thought was so cute and unique. prices were quite high. i got a small iced americano for $7 while my friend got a small matcha with some flavoring for nearly $9. although id assume most coffee shops are around the same price. staff was very kind! i went multiple times throughout my trip. great food aswell.

Wedding Review Here! We wanted a simple, elegant cutting cake for our wedding and Bread and Roses delivered. Their white chocolate and vanilla was absolutely divine and an excellent accompaniment to the dinner we had. Pick-up in the morning was also seamless.

We made a special drive to this place for a slice of legit Maine blueberry pie. I also bought a plain coffee. The coffee was essentially drip-style for $4. The pie slice was cold, small, and flavored more of sugar than blueberries. Marie Calendar does it better for a lot less. Also, while the photos show an interior, we only saw outside counter service. The bakery location on Maps is marked “Kitchen” in person. Limited parking, no public restroom.

We recently special ordered a strawberry-rhubarb pie here, not a normal listed item but they were happy to accommodate; it was the best pie I've had in a long time, so much better than store-bought, the filling was fruit-sweet rather than over-sweet, the crust and topping were tasty and well textured, rich without being overwhelming; just overall a great pie, definitely plan to check here in the future for events!

Its a joke. Went for GF menu that was listed but found only cookies but no breakfast items. Paid $7 for microwaved english muffin bacon egg cheese (disgusting). Smoothie was $8 tasted like pure orange juice. Pure joke and amateur place.

Got a blueberry lemon scone and it was huge. Croissants were good just small for the portions.

Bread & Roses is the best. I Look forward to the summer. There is just one thing I find this year is the variety of the scones. I love the scones they are the best but could you please bake the ones with the fruit. I was told it was the bakers discretion. Thank you
