This cozy little place is clearly a local favorite — and for good reason. It’s small and always in high demand, so be prepared to wait unless you arrive right when they open. We first stopped by around 9 a.m. and the line was too long, but when we came back around 11, we still waited about 25 minutes and it was worth it.
The staff are welcoming and friendly, the portions are generous, and everything has that comforting, home-cooked feel. The relaxed, warm atmosphere makes it the perfect place to start (or end) your morning. The food was fantastic — one of our friends ordered the Eggs Benedict and swore it was the best he’s ever had.

Always go to when we’re in town. Usually a line which is worth it, but today we got in quick.
One of the fluffiest omelettes I’ve ever had
Morgan was super friendly as our server
Great food, quick service. Very small restaurant but they really keep things moving
Fresh Fruit is DELICIOUS. nice staff.
This is one of my favorite breakfast places in Ogunquit. We’ve been going here for many years. The food is always so good, and the place is super cute. Friendly staff!
Cove Cafe has a comfortable, charming, quaint and inviting atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing unrushed breakfast near the ocean/Marginal Way. My husband said the blueberry French toast was the best French toast he’s ever had.
Delicious french toast
We've been coming to Ogunquit for years and while I've seen the reviews and wanted to try it, we never made. That all changed during our last visit and we were SO happy. Cute place with a super staff and a great breakfast. The ham and cheese omelet was fluffy and cheesy with a side of home fries, which were delicious. Mom had the avocado toast with fruit on the side that didn't disappoint. As we were waiting for our check, I saw their egg sandwich go by and knew we had to come back. We returned for two of the best egg sandwiches we'd had in Maine. Fresh, fluffy eggs, crisp bacon, and more cheese. Try it out, you won't be disappointed.
We have been long time customers. Went this morning the food was disgusting. Everything tasted old. Will never go back

We so look forward to going every year!! We will get up early to make it our first place to go in Ogunquit.
Fantastic breakfast with lots of great choices, very fresh and delicious. Small place, but great service and atmosphere.
This place is adorable. Get the cranberry sour dough bread. The crab cake breakfast was very good. The dining room is quaint and very clean, attractive. Very friendly service. Only issue is it’s a tad expensive for breakfast, but that’s Perkins Cove.
This was a great morning spot with friendly service, A ton of locals, great food. Parking is at a premium at the Cafe; but, only a short walk/stroll from Perkins Cove. The food was very well prepared, good coffee and prompt service.
Wheelchair accessibility: The business itself is accessible, but the nearest parking is darn near a 1/4 of a mile away.
