Great place to get breakfast in Ogunquit, always busy, we recommend!

After a very long wait, families got their food before us and they came in after us. Then after 45 minutes the server brought out food that was not ours and then left. After we told them it wasn’t what we ordered. They took it back. 10 minutes later they come and told us we have the option of leaving as our order was never put in apparently.

We left.

1 star for food as we never had the chance of tasting it.

1 star for service. At least they refilled our coffee 5 times

Had breakfast today and the service by Ricardo was pathetic. Not once we're we asked how the food was and it wasn't great. Been a loyal customer of this restaurant for decades but the service is poor and the food isn't that great. Won't ever go back and they need to get with the times and accept credit cards not just cash.

Hubby had homemade hash which he didn't like- his omelette was average he said compared to other places he has had it at he get a standard sausage- American cheese omelet. plus has brown potatoes he said they were just average as well. Mine on the other hand was awesome. stuff French toast with blueberries and pecans with whipped cream OMG. Yummy. hot chocolate and coffee was just average as well .

A solid breakfast spot! One of our favorite breakfasts that we had on our vacation to Ogunquit. They got us seated quickly and server was very friendly and attentive. Best corned beef hash of the trip, and I loved the thick homemade whipped cream on top of my waffle. My husband enjoyed his lobster eggs benny. A classic diner feel. We would definitely return!

Great place. Jamaican staff are the best make me feel like home when I am there. Food is great and cost is good compared to the other places who charge a hell of a lot more. Wish they had grits I’m not sure if they do.

The State berry pancakes were good, I was expecting the strawberries to be in the pancake but the strawberry butter made up for that! It was super crowded when we got there so service was kind of slow. We were given the wrong bill at first but it was sorted out amicably. They do need to update their register as it did take a while for the guy to ring people out.

On our vacation to Maine we stopped here for breakfast. There was about a 20 minute wait but well worth it !! It's a very busy restaurant. There pancakes and eggs are very good ? ? employees , hostess and waiter very nice.

Vegetarian options: Not sure ..they ask if your vegan when you come in.

Parking: Alot of spots and more behind the restaurant.handicap spots near door.

Kid-friendliness: I seen alot of babies and kids with their families. Employees and cashier and hostess very friendly.

The staff at the Egg and I were kind enough to provide me with take out on a very busy short staffed Sunday. My wife is disabled and was in a lot of pain, unable to get out. I explained my situation, and they provided us with 2 amazing breakfasts. The homemade hash and eggs were amazing. Thanks for making my morning.
