Egg & I Pancake and Waffle House

The Egg and I is one of our favorite breakfast places to eat in the area. Their homemade hash and French toast is amazing. They have historically been cash only, but after our visit today, they have updated to accept credit cards as well now. We highly recommend the Egg and I!

The food was amazing and I would strongly suggest getting the eggs Benedict. It is a great place to go to will your on vacation.

Delicious food, great service, wheelchair ramp is very steep and not ADA compliant by any stretch of the imagination, literally impossible to get up without being pushed by someone else

Strong coffee. Great poached eggs on nice thick toast. Ok sausage. Sausage & biscuits liked by the hubby

I wanted to get a big breakfast/brunch style meal and I was not dissappointed. We came here mid morning. The wait was about 30min, which wasn't too bad. They also had an app so you could check on your place in line, which is very fancy. The longer the wait, you could leave and come back if you wanted. The wait was worth it thought, the food was fantastic. I had the Homemade Hash, my wife had a California Omlet. my daughter had the Stuffed French Toast, my son had Pancakes and my brother had a Breakfast Burrito. The Hash was truly homemade, it was literally shredded corned beef. I tried the daughters Stuffed French Toast. It was wonderful...a little sweet for my liking, but really good. The server was fairly decent but was very busy so there wasnt a lot of engagement. When we left. The place had quieted down, so timing on your visit (day/season) will make a difference. Give it a try if you are in the area!

There's ample outdoor seating to wait. The food was good, the atmosphere was nice. The hostess got our check for us after we waited a while, and after we continued to wait to pay, the hostess came back and took payment. I would recommend breakfast here if you have the time.

This is def a go to great breakfast spot... On the main Rd. Id get a pic of flood but we gobbled it up it was so tasty... The irish Benedict with homemade corned beef was epic and my wife loved her 2 egg breakfast.... Highly recommend here for sure... Staff was patient and relaxed

After a very long wait, families got their food before us and they came in after us. Then after 45 minutes the server brought out food that was not ours and then left. After we told them it wasn’t what we ordered. They took it back. 10 minutes later they come and told us we have the option of leaving as our order was never put in apparently.

We left.

1 star for food as we never had the chance of tasting it.

1 star for service. At least they refilled our coffee 5 times

Had breakfast today and the service by Ricardo was pathetic. Not once we're we asked how the food was and it wasn't great. Been a loyal customer of this restaurant for decades but the service is poor and the food isn't that great. Won't ever go back and they need to get with the times and accept credit cards not just cash.

Hubby had homemade hash which he didn't like- his omelette was average he said compared to other places he has had it at he get a standard sausage- American cheese omelet. plus has brown potatoes he said they were just average as well. Mine on the other hand was awesome. stuff French toast with blueberries and pecans with whipped cream OMG. Yummy. hot chocolate and coffee was just average as well .
