While the food was exceptional with its locally sustainable menu items and delicious ensembles, our server, Nikko, brought the dining experience to a whole new level of enjoyment! He is a wonderful new addition to the Five-O fold.

.My Husband and I are local and back 5 years ago moved to Wells and dined at Five O probably 3 times a week . It was very good until Covid hit. The food portions ,service and Quality were definitely lacking and we found ourselves dining there less and less. We still now and then would give it a try and found it was slowly getting a bit better.
I am extremely fussy as I love to cook.
Salt,Acid,Fat.
Hard to find the balance anywhere accept my home kitchen.
However I need to leave this review because dining at Five O this Valentines Evening made for the BEST valentines my Husband and I have had in a very long time!
It was absolutely perfect!
Start to finish! Greeted and sat at a window seat. Our waitress was excellent!
There wasn’t 1 time that we had to pour our own wine. We had a bottle of wine which is 2 glasses each and she was on it! That is a first any where we have been! It’s definitely noticed! Our apps were excellent ! The salad greens with chopped dates, pomegranate seeds, blue cheese crumbles and caramelized nuts were awesome!
The fried oysters perfect!
We both ordered filet mignon wrapped in prosciutto served with Broccolini , chopped parsnip . The filet was seasoned PERFECTLY! Salted perfectly! Beautiful Med rare a warm red center. It was like butter!
Absolutely perfection! The Broccolini was not bitter or tough. It was Perfectly seasoned and tender ! The parsnip was tender and added a bite of bitter with a smooth cream . Amazing!
To end we ordered Irish coffees.
Omg! Seriously! The BEST we have had anywhere!
Amazing! The Jamison’s whiskey was the star
Followed by excellent coffee with a brown sugar rim and a frozen cream. It had a caramel note to it.
Absolutely incredible!
So with this being said ,We Thank you Five O because during a special occasion or just a night out the dining experience can really make or break one’s whole night. We can’t wait to come again!

The chowder was very bland. The scallops were so salty I could barely eat them. The waitress never came over to ask how our meal was. It was like we were not there. I had to place all our empty dishes on the edge of the table hoping she would clear the table. We had to flag her down every time we needed something. Everything came out very slow. Needless to say I won’t be back One positive was the bread. It was great.

My wife and I have celebrated our wedding anniversary at FIVE-O for many years as we love the ambience in the bar, the blueberry martinis, great service and menu, especially their fantastic Bolognese. This past August we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. We made a reservation a month ahead of our planned visit on the day of our anniversary and asked to be seated at a table by the window. We began our festivities in the bar with our annual blueberry martinis created by Sean, our professional friendly bartender, who was very attentive and congratulatory. Even the young hostess who later seated us at a great table by the window was also genuinely thrilled for our milestone anniversary. Once seated, and throughout the course of a delightful meal with a great wine selection, our server, Mirka, shared that she worked at FIVE-O for many years prior, was now employed elsewhere but returns to FIVE-O to help out when staff is short. Tonight was our lucky night as Mirka was extremely attentive but also did not hover. Come to find out, she’s married to the bartender, Sean, and they have a beautiful family! The entire night was exceptional thanks to Sean and Mirka (who later joined us for more congratulations and photos), the wonderful hostess who seated us, and the entire kitchen staff who prepared our scrumptious meal along with a complimentary dessert! Five-O gets 5+ forks from this happy pair! Thank you for everything and for making our 50th anniversary dinner special. We will see you again next year!

Always a pleasure to dine at this lovely restaurant. The service is attentive, the food is always consistently delicious and the cocktails fabulous! We always look forward to visiting each time we are in ogunquit!

Visited with my wife for dinner. We were seated immediately and our server was very prompt. We ordered a bottle of wine to go along with dinner. We both started with the Beef Noodle Soup which was very good. I had the Bolognese which was outstanding. My wife had the Fruit De Mare which was also excellent. We were too stuffed to order desert. Everything was outstanding.

We had a wonderful experience at Five-O. We sat at the bar, and the bartenders/servers, Sean and Jackie were great. To my delight, the lamb chops were from Colorado where the very best lamb is raised. It was just awesome, the temperature was perfect, and the potatoes and carrots were great as well. For $48 including the sides, it was a bargain. The drinks were well done, my wife Dede said it was the best Old Fashion she has ever had, and my martini we just right. We could not recommend it more.

Restaurant is rather blah . The service was good but servers appeared rushed and overwhelmed . Food was good but presentation was so - so . With so many restaurants in the area - there are many that are better . A tad disappointing for the price .

Service was painfully, painfully slow. Seating very tight. My husband had a chair slammed into his arm twice. Food was hit or miss. The heirloom tomato salad for an app was great but thats where it stopped. Linguini and clams medicore at best. The chocolate lava cake not only had no lava to it but also contained egg shells. Overall a disappointing meal. Unlikely I will return
