An old favorite, but it seems like there is a new owner now.

After many years of providing a reasonably priced, interesting alternative to the many wonderful other restaurants in Ogunquit, Gypsy's has posted that they will not open in 2019. We already miss you!

Had always been a favorite for many years but a lot has “slipped “. Clam chowder was lukewarm and no clams! Very busy due to excellent location but menu was average. No longer special.

Unique bohemian atmosphere right near the center of town. Worth a visit for an experience you won't really get anywhere else

Great dinner experience. Lobster pot pie. It was delicious. the wait staff is great, the bread is super crusty and yummy . Get the blueberry lemon martini.

Terrible! Lackluster bread. Shrimp on a skewer appetizer was tasteless and shrimp was too small. Haddock sounded promising. It arrived at the table and the portion was a very good size. I asked to have it cooked a little more because it was still a little raw. When waitress brought it back to me...the portion had suddenly been reduced to about 4 bites! I was mortified and angry. There was definitely something not right about this and I completely lost my appetite and didn't eat any of the sides. Waitress was completely oblivious to my disappointment and I paid my bill and left. Never coming here again! There are way too many better places to eat in ogunquit...so no need to ever come here again.
It's too bad because the atmosphere is quaint and inviting....but that's it. Everything else from service to food is terrible. Way overpriced and just awful. We walked out. Don't waste your time or money! This place is fleecing tourists! Just terrible.
Amazing food and awesome atmosphere on the roof deck. Everything we ordered was creative and delicious, and portions were large. Well done, we'll definitely be back!
