Received a notice that my reservation was cancelled with no additional information. When I reached out to find out why no one followed up. Really problematic since this was for one of the busiest dining weekends in Ogunquit.

The food was delicious. Despite being shorthanded the night of our visit, this restaurant delivered what they promised. Pizza was five-star, fresh fish prepared perfectly, meat balls and sauce like Mama used to make. A refreshing dining experience in Ogunquit. Honest and attentive service. We will be back to this place. Go and give it a try. Share a bottle of wine and some really good, fresh food.

We found this new restaurant and are so glad that we did! It’s lovely and clean inside. Dennis, the Executive Chef and owner greeted us immediately and was super friendly. Our server, Benjamin was a delight and very attentive. The CARCIOFI ALA GUDEA (Duck Fat Fried Artichoke Hearts) is a must order for an appetizer! We had the double stuffed pork chop and the halibut special and both were delicious. We look forward to returning!

Had such an amazing dining experience last weekend at Il Covo. Saturday night spent my fiancée's birthday there with a group of friends and family. We were served by the chef who also offered his personal recommendations.Everyone absolutely loved everything we had to eat, I personally had a terrific pasta bolognese and ate every single bite and shared the short rib poutine which was also wonderful. All the other people at the table raved about their dishes including the Wagyu and Halibut specials, the butternut squash ravioli, the short ribs, a pizza, and the meatball starter to share! As well as some coffees and a cake for the birthday celebration!I could not recommend this place more, it is brand new and is very nice and clean inside, with super nice and helpful staff. We loved it so much we tried to go back there for dinner again Sunday night but we realized when we got there it was not open (it does have limited days/hours of operation so be sure to pay attention to that). But we plan to come back in the near future for sure!

The food and the service are solid but dear god is the ambiance lacking. Play some music and please PLEASE lower the lighting. Ogunquit is gay and gray, the spotlights in the dining room are wildly unforgiving and will be a significant turn off to much of the Ogunquit clientele.

Inviting venue. Gracious servers. Thoughtful and varied menu. Good value for price. We look forward to returning and are happy to recommend il Coco to others.

Went here for our ten year anniversary. The owner was bartending, he was a very nice guy as was the waiter. The appetizers and meals were outstanding! We had the chicken picatta and the pork chop. Can’t wait to go back and try some of their other entrees.

Excellent meal! Table of eight and everybody ate and drank wonderfully. The decor and ambiance could be a little more refined though (music, light dimming)

Food was authentic, very tasty, and tailored to our preferences. The chef Dennis was very welcoming and he took the time to greet us, explain the menu, and answer our questions. The server was funny, well mannered and had good intentions, however he had some difficulties in taking our orders appropriately. The atmosphere was somewhat subpar, I would recommend to dim the lights and have some music for ambiance (music only played for the first 15-20 mins of the night). Despite our issues, I would still recommend the restaurant for the delicious food and I’m confident that they will make improvements the overall experience (we were there for the first day of their new menu, they might need some time to get used to it).
