Jonathan's Restaurant Concerts & Special Events

This was our first trip here. It was outstanding! My wife has celiac and they were highly rated. Fantastic food; and perfect care with her allergy as well. Service was terrific and it's such a cozy spot. We will certainly be back to dine here next time we are in town. They also have comedians come in and host shows in the upstairs. We will look into that next trip as well.

Food was delicious, atmosphere welcoming and warm - staff was attentive and professional. Can't wait to go back.

We purchased show tickets with a dinner credit, had a 5:15 reservation, with the show at 7:00. Our order was taken before 5:30 but our food did not arrive until 6:45. They were backed in the kitchen. Other diners in our area had the same issue with food arriving too close to show time. The food itself tasted fine but portions were a bit weak given the price. $52 for 4 shrimp, 3 small clams and a miserly portion of lobster over pasta (mostly shell). Drinks were good. Made us late for the drink/dessert line for the show. This place does not have enough help or does not know how to manage an event (or both). Could have been so much better. Overall, the food and drinks are decent enough but value is not great. Comedy show was great. Venue is nice.

Purchased dinner show package. Went on December 20th and a they were short handed because staff went home for the holidays. Were seated at 4:30p when restaurant opened, and by the time our main course arrived and we had finished it, we had to ask our waitress for the check because we only had 15 minutes before the show started, upstairs, at 7p! I do NOT recommend dining here if you are seeing a show on site!

Excellent as always! Great food and drink. The bar area has Jazz music and its excellent! Love this place. The atmosphere is perfect also. Big window walls and decorated nicely.

We had an early reservation before the Bob Marley show. We got a great table next to the window where the wooded area and art are. The waitress was great and the food was so good. I always get the mushroom pappardelle, it never fails. No rush meal and plenty of time to walk upstairs for the show. We love Jonathan's.

The room is as spacious and immaculate and well stocked. We loved the gas fireplace and walk-in shower. The Beach was spectacular even in November! We pretty much had it all to ourselves which was great for walking. Ogunquit has a lot of fabulous shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend the Norseman for a fall getaway!

Love Jonathan's especially at the bar side. Lovely understated soft piano and guitar live music. The bartenders were great. Miguel and Horace.... The stuffed haddock continues to be a favorite. Thanks for a lovely evening.

We hadn't been to this restaurant in a few years but we were going to the Ogunquit Playhouse so we decided to have dinner there before the show. We were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful our whole experience there was! Although it was a very busy evening with the play just down the road and another show upstairs at Jonathan's our service and food were both excellent. Our server was attentive and not at all frazzled by the busyness of the atmosphere. I had an excellent dinner of braised short ribs. I honestly can't recall what my husband ordered but he was equally pleased and we even were offered a 10 percent discount because we were going to the playhouse after!

All was great, especially service by Jesus, he was very attentive, friendly and professional

Check out the menu pictures. Every plate that comes out is perfect. One of the best food, service, and ambiance experiences we ever had. If you have a special occasion coming this is the place.

Every meal was perfect! The show was amazing. Over all a 10/10 evening for my group. Thank you for the special birthday card, from Jonathan's.

Menu when we booked was full menu, limited menu the night we were there.only desert we wanted was out before 7Pm. If notified of change we would have changed plans.

First time experience... Not bad. It was nice. We were celebrating an anniversary and they provided us a nice card. We'll definitely be back.
