This place definitely knows how to nail the Maine lobster experience. Competitive market prices and filling portions. Will undoubtably be visiting next time I find myself in the area.

If I have to pick one place to eat on a visit to Ogunquit, this is the one! The hard part is deciding between the lobster roll and the fish tacos -- both are the best I've ever had. And get the clam chowder no matter which you pick! It's definitely casual, wooden tables with long benches inside. If you can't get a seat, takeout works -- there are a handful of picnic tables around Perkins Cove. There can be a line out the door if people waiting to order at the counter, but it moves pretty fast. Lobster rolls are expensive everywhere, but in my experience, this one is an excellent value - lots of great lobster meat, and slightly less expensive than other places nearby. It's closed in the winter, so check before you go. And in the summer, parking in the cove can be difficult, so if you walk from elsewhere that works best.

Fun little casual place in a pretty area. Parking is challenging but it's worth it. Great lobster and soups!

Best lobster roll I had during my trip to New England. And it's a quaint little place to eat especially to escape the rain.

Overpriced for the lobster. The service was not friendly, brought the lobster but never came back to see if we needed anything. No lemon, no knives and very napkins. Atmosphere could be updated.

The live lobster was very nice, sweet and juicy. Paid $33 for the Lobster, well worth it. Lobster roll and crab roll were just okay, and salad was good. Waitresses are super nice and friendly, but the cashier person was not as friendly.

Chowder was filling and loaded with lots of chunks of potatoes and seafood. Chili was filled with meat and beans. Grilled cheese and cheeseburger were hot and really good. Service was super quick and very helpful. End of lunchtime so not crowded at all which is good because if it was busy the seating is cramped. As it was we had a nice late lunch.

Stopped for lunch. Place was busy as usual. Had a really good lobster roll Priced right and nice to have a seat at a table to eat it. Comes with chips and a pickle. Only recommendation would be to have house made chips rather than basic out of the bag chips.

My husband and I went here for the first time while vacationing. He ordered the lobster roll, I ordered the lobster grilled cheese sandwich , and we shared a bowl of lobster soup . We don't have anything to really compare this to and so food wise, we weren't that impressed. I didn't realize my grilled cheese was made with American cheese (I don't like that particular cheese) and my bread tasted greasy. My husband, however, said he liked it better than he did the lobster roll. He really did not enjoy that taste-wise at all. He did, however, enjoy the lobster soup and finished it off. I was not that crazy about it, but I think I liked it better than I did my lobster grilled cheese sandwich. In their defense, had I known it was American cheese, I would have never ordered it! The positive thing I want to say about this establishment is that they had great customer service, and on a scale of one to five, I would give them a five (5) on that. Also, they got out the food fairly quickly and I would give them a five (5) on that too. My husband described it as something everyone needs to try, but he doesn't think we'll be particularly doing it again. Maybe if you're a Lobster lover, you would really like it, however, for us, it just didn't seem to work.

Fresh lobsters, tasty steamers, great location, decent price. I'm not a big fan of their home made clam chowder, a bit too watery for my liking. Parking was a pain but everything else was amazing.

Everything you would expect from a Lobster shack. They only have a few offerings but they excel at those few things. The lobster roll was phenomenal along with their corn on the cob. Friendly service and tasty food.

Delightfully unexpectedly the best dinner (food & service) because it's right there. Restaurant is maybe only 350 feet walk from the hotel. Terrific service and delicious food. Great blueberry pie too!
