One of the best elevated seafood restaurants I’ve been to in Maine. I would highly recommend this place if you enjoy a fresh flavor profile on classic regional dishes.

We popped in for a cool cocktail and the bartender, Ama, was awesome!!! Our cocktails were spot on and he is a master mixologist! Stop by and see him, you won't be disappointed!

I wish there was a half star rating. Service was excellent. 5++++, The waitstaff was lovely. It was very noisy but it was Saturday night. Food 4.5. A couple of the dishes could be tweaked a tad, they were good but could have been excellent with a little better flavor paring, particularly the seared foie gras with blueberry compote. The foie was perfectly cooked and the candied jalapenos excellent. The compote though overwhelmed the delicate flavor of the foie. A fantastic place for an anniversary dinner which we both enjoyed.

View is great. Staff didn’t know about the menu. The menu wasn’t marked correctly for gluten free. Mentions on the site most things can be made gluten free - this isn’t true. Which made me concerned about the knowledge of the staff on gluten. Food was okay. Not bad, not stellar either.

The salmon salad was fantastic … the views of the cove unbeatable. Perfect lunch spot following a walk down Marginal Way.

My wife and I recently visited to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. It’s been a favorite spot of ours for a long time. We shared a nice bottle of wine and dinner upstairs. The food and service was first class, the atmosphere warm and relaxed, and the ocean view beautiful, as it always is here. Special thanks to Reese- our server, who was so friendly and professional she made us feel like regulars, and helped make our 30th a special night.

I came here last night with my family and we had an absolutely wonderful experience, we had the best seat in the restaurant with beautiful views of the ocean in every direction, even on a rainy evening which made it even more cozy. I’m vegan and went into dinner thinking I would just have a salad as I didn’t see anything on the menu or have read any reviews mentioning a vegan option but upon arrival and speaking with our attentive waitress I learned that the chef would be able to make me something. She made me a Moroccan spice eggplant on a bed of jasmine rice with bok choy and beets in a coconut curry sauce and when I say it was absolutely delicious I pretty much licked the bowl clean. The chef even made it a point to come out and check on what I thought of the meal which was so extravagant as they are clearly passionate about creative, delicious meals. 100/10 recommend and truly fairly priced for the 4 of us we got 4 cocktails, vegan dish, chicken dish, salmon dish, shrimp dish and two salads and the total was under $250 before tip!

Caviar Service was outstanding as were the Oysters on the half Shell with delicious mignonette! Always an amazing experience.

I was in Perkins Cove with my elderly mother who was in a wheelchair. We were hoping to go to M.C. Perkins Cove as I saw they had an elevator outside to get into the building. When I went up to the restaurant the elevator area was blocked by a red Jeep and could not be accessed. I went in and spoke with the individual behind the bar (that was the only person working there I saw when I walked in) and asked if it would be possible to use the elevator since my mother was in a wheelchair. They told me the elevator was broken. There was NOT a sign on the elevator and no other explanation was provided. If you have anyone in your party who cannot do stairs - make sure to call ahead & make sure the elevator is working!

When I walked in the door, I said wow the view of the ocean is incredible. When you sit down every table has a great view. The staff was extremely accommodating, offering a lot of assistance and patience for ordering. The food was amazing. I had the burger, smoky bacon. Excellent my sister had the lobster roll. There was not one bite of food left on anybody’s plate. Thank you for an incredible lunch.

If there was a rating of zero for service, I would give a zero! The food was fantastic, thank very much to the chef! But for the staff, for the first time in my life I had experience with such terrible service, if you want to ruin your mood and evening, then you need to visit this place, and the staff will help you with this!

Great food in a great location with ocean views at Perkins Cove. Parking could be tough on weekends.

Been here a few times and last night will be the last. The drinks were horrendous. The margarita was just sour mix. Our appetizers took an hour to get. Our waitress didn’t update us until 45 min had passed. It took 20 min to get a glass of wine. I understand she was the only one working upstairs but she was pretty bad at her job. Our card was flagged when she ran it and while we were trying to confirm the purchase to our bank and say it wasn’t fraudulent, she came pack extremely rude to us while we were trying to figure it out. They added on 20% gratuity which was a bit much for our experience. Being right next to the ocean can’t save the place from bad service and horrible drinks.
