Nikanos Mediterranean Bar & Grille

The brunch menu caught my eye, & we just had to go. So many delicious options at great prices. I started with their bloody mary & had the Nikanos benedict, while my friend opted for the lobster benedict. Everything was amazing, & the service was top-notch.

Nice area for dining during warm weather. At the time, we had a very skilled musician play guitar. It was relaxing and you felt you are on vacation. Food was OK. Not bad. Overall pleasant dining experience.

We ordered an appetizer. Our lunch came out. So the server forgot our appetizer no big deal. He brought it out after. I got the Mediterranean bowl with grilled salmon. It was a bowl of kale and maybe a tablespoon or 2 of goat cheese and beets and orzo. The pomegranate dressing was good but too sweet for me and there were not enough of the other ingredients to balance the dish. In addition to that, I pulled out several bones from my mouth from the salmon that in parts tasted slightly fishy although the portion was generous. The appetizer that we got was Dolmades and they were absolutely delicious! I love their menu and will give it another try but kind of disappointed 😔

Mixed bag. Nice atmosphere. Moroccan style belly dancer as entertainment. My meal yum, partner’s meh. Service under par. Manager response generic. It’s a crap shoot.

We have been there several times, but the first time in the past 2 years.
I ordered the lemon chicken , could not taste any lemon except the half oz container w lemon sauce. Hardly enough. I got the rice instead of the potatoes. Big mistake. Absolutely no flavor.
We got the dessert special. Pistachio Penacotta. About 2 thirds of a cup, very few finely ground pistachios . 12. 00
The bread was the only food that was good, and our waitress was.
I felt like I wasted 140.00

The most disappointing grilled octopus dish I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I don’t know if it’s always like this, but tonight, August 31, we were extremely disappointed with our experience. My grilled octopus was not only not grilled, but barely cooked. The contents of the plate were very disappointing. The staff, however, were very kind. I’m sorry to have to write this review, but I believe it’s necessary.

Six of us had a blast on a Thursday night! Lovely atmosphere with the fire braziers to keep us warm, delicious food and funny servers. All the food was great, some desserts better than others (pistachio ice cream was most of our agreed favorite!).

We did try ordering delivery a following day of our vacation, and feel it’s better eaten in person, but still delicious!!

Got there during happy hour. They had a limited menu. We ordered 3 appetizers. Fried calamari, greek meatball, and grape leaves. Delicious! I love good Mediterranean food!

We had a beautiful seat outside in the evening up at the highest table. With the strung lights overhead, this made for a very romantic atmosphere at night. I was really surprised at the reasonable price of the food and I thought it was good quality at that price point. We finished our meals and still had half of each meal to bring home. I would definitely stop here again.

The food is terrible. It is pretty hard to mess up a greek salad with chicken. The chicken had a weird taste and texture. The rice was awful that was served with the souvlaki. Not even close to authentic Greek food. Lastly the linen napkins had a funky smell.
