Amazing from the location to the service and menu! The lobster is so very good and delicious. The restaurant atmosphere was amazing and great food! Open only seasonal and you shouldn’t miss out on it. Lobsters are in the back by the kitchen and you get to see if the staff allows you! Highly recommend giving them a try
They have a good sea-food chowder, and you can’t beat the view. The staff bends over backwards to make sure you’re having a good time. My wife and I don’t visit Maine without visiting Oarweed’s. Last time we visited we drove straight from Montreal to the Oarweed parking lot and ate there.
Not sure why this restaurant only rates a four, because it was the best meal and value we have had on our NEW ENGLAND journey thus far! The crab cakes were delicious and hot, and the crab sandwich on white, grilled with Swiss cheese was a delicious treat I hadn’t experienced before! Prices are not extremely high except the desserts IMO…
