Quaint and bustling little place. We ate downstairs and were glad we got there when we did because it quickly filled up! The food was great, and the omelets were huge, but the real star was the homemade hot sauce. It was incredible, and a bottle had to come home with us. Definitely recommend!

What a great place to have an amazing omelette and so many choices. Glad we finally decided to stop for breakfast. Definitely on our list of the best breakfast places.

Food was highly overpriced for just being mediocre, and we were asked if we wanted bacon or sausage to go with the meal, just to then be charged $8 for a few slices of bacon that were cold and were cooked at some point before we even showed up. He picked the bacon out of a greasy bucket above the griddle that he hadn’t touched since we walked in 20 minutes prior. They are price gouging and taking advantage of tourists because of their location. Find somewhere else!

If I could give this place zero stars I would . First the place doesn’t look very well kept or clean. The cooks do not wear gloves , touching his phone and scratching his beard while handling toast and chocolate chips, and other food items. I saw him pick up a piece of bacon that fell on the counter and placed it back onto the plate . The one cook was wearing his pajamas and someone from the back bringing in a bucket of potatoes wasn’t very clean and looked miserable. When we got our food we could barely eat, super salty and just disgusted. If you are visiting the area please do not eat here , go somewhere else. Disgusting . Funny thing is they have a safe serve certificate on the wall ….confused on how they got this ! Very disappointing

The place was super cute and we were very excited to eat here initially. Unfortunately it didn’t exceed or meet any of our expectations at all. One of the cooks was literally talking to someone on speaker phone super loudly while cooking the food. Nobody wearing gloves or washing hands. I work in food service, and understand gloves, especially near a griddle, isn’t always best as long as one has clean hands, but if one of the cooks is holding their phone while cooking, and behind the counter looks like a mess, it’s a huge turn off. I also understand things can get messy on the line when it’s busy, being that I’m in food service, but there was barely anyone in there when we went and the food DID come out pretty quickly. I don’t find the talking on the phone and lack of cleanliness at all acceptable and it really grossed us out while we waited for the food.
I got a french toast breakfast sandwich, with ham egg and cheese, which *tasted* pretty good, but when I first saw it I thought they mistakenly gave me steak instead of ham because the bread on the inside was brown and soggy—it literally looked like meat, which tells me they cooked the toast on a really greasy, unclean surface on the griddle, which grossed me out super bad.
I think this place could be wonderful, but it didn’t seem like there was any care for appearance or cleanliness at all. We probably won’t be back again.

Ordered the lobster Benedict and was super excited, up until I cut into it (and then the bite).

Looked great on the plate, but it was obvious from the first cut that the egg was way overcooked to the point that there was no runny yolk at all. The first several bites of lobster were great, perfectly tender, but subsequent chunks were overcooked and chewy. Unfortunately the Hollandaise was almost flavorless, rich without adding anything to the palate. The lobster and the few sprinkled chives were all I could taste. The lack of lemon in the hollandaise was particularly disappointing, given how well lemon pairs with lobster.

All in all, very underwhelming.

24 years and counting…(only missed one year because they were closed for Covid). The best food, best staff, and relaxing atmosphere…always worth the wait, we recommend to everyone who goes up there and we can’t wait to see you all in a few weeks!!
