We just stopped at Peppers after the theater at Ogunquit Playhouse. Of the many restaurants to choose from, we're very happy we came here. Not busy on this Sunday evening. Four of us sat in a spacious booth. Outside seating was also available. We were pleased with the unique and traditional menu choices and even more pleased with the quality of the meals we ordered. Prices were reasonable and the food quantity was certainly not skimpy. Don't miss this place next time you come to Ogunquit.

Ordered takeout, they forgot to include the sauce which would have been easier to overlook if the food tasted good.

Service was fabulous, and our food was awesome as well. Our server Matt set the bar pretty high at our first stop on our Maine getaway. It's our 3rd day in Boothbay Harbor and we're still searching for a Pepper's experience. Oh well. At Pepper's we enjoyed the buck a shuck oysters so much so we ordered a second dozen. Steamed clams were great, but the fried whole clams were out of this world. We finished with twin lobsters. Sadly they were out of blueberry pie so I can't comment on that, I'm sure it's wonderful too. Definitely stop here if you're in the area.

Ordered the mussels and the seafood platter... the mussels had no broth and looked dried up like they had been sitting out. We didn't eat them because it was disgusting. The platter was okay but the scallops had a bit of an odd taste and we didn't really like the fry batter. The drinks were good. Our server was nice but never brought over utensils or asked how the food was. I think we were supposed to get broth with the mussels but never received it. Even if we had they still were inedible. Would not go back here.

The server was short and seemed annoyed that they had to serve us. Completely disappointed that this was our first family meal experience in Maine. The food was just not good, the lobster was like chewing rubber! We didn't end up eating our meals or taking anything to go, it was a sad waste of food. The kids did enjoy their chicken strips, and french fries, their food was served in a cute little boat.

I am now a Pepper fanatic!!!
The freshest, largest, best fried seafood platter I've ever had, served piping hot and juicy. Their cocktail sauce tasted tangy, fresh, and homemade. They didn't have frozen drinks, so they made me a Pina Colada on the rocks, it was delicious and perfectly mixed. Sweet potato fries were perfect. Everything was. Service was great. Surprisingly quiet inside, roomy, with no wait at the time we came. Definitely would come back again.

We recently had a chance to try Peppers Seafood in Ogunquit for dinner and we were pleasantly surprised! Our server Claudia was attentive and friendly. We started with the garden salad which is big enough for sharing. For dinners we enjoyed the baked scallops and seafood pasta. The blueberry pie which is homemade was a nice dessert! We’ll definitely be revisiting!

I originally had labeled this a second choice, but I couldn't have been more wrong! Food was outstanding, waitress was great. Bus boy a bit aggressive with cleaning, but I get it. One of the best New England chowders I've had on my trip. Make sure you save room for blueberry pie with ice cream, a must.

I set out to find the best lobster roll in Ogunquit… After days of delicious trial and error, this place came out on top. Warm or cold, however you like it, it’s unbeatable. Others come close, but this one is simply the best.
