The food was fabulous. I had the lobster ravioli and can't wait to enjoy it again next year. This was closing night for the season, so was quite busy. The staff was extremely friendly and obviously work very hard. We also lost out on our better table because a member of our party was unable to join us, so we ended up in a less comfortable spot - close to the kitchen and noisier. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

This is the second trip to Ogunquit, and we had to make sure we had at least one meal at Roberto's. This place never disappoints. The food is superb. The service is excellent. Anna was our server and she was absolutely amazing. We definitely recommend that you go here for a meal. We will definitely be back to have another meal in the future.

Couple weeks ago, we decided to try Roberto's for the 1st time. We've been coming to OGT for years now but never tried this place out. Party of 6, 3 adults and 3 kids.Upon arrival, the hostess was kind and directed us to our table towards the back of the house. She was very kind and noticed her smile. Good start.A few min later, our waiter showed up and was ready to take our order.“hi, my name is _ _ _ _O S and I will be your waiter” - no smile and was holding himself with both arms on our chairs. Kind of odd.We had barely sat down. We kindly requested for more time and ordered some drinks and juice for the table. As we settled in, we noticed the AC was aimed directly at our table and clearly was set on a high fan mode.We ordered and kindly requested our waiter whether it may be possible to lower the intensity or change the direction. He was going to look into it. 25min later, our plates arrive (pasta with veal, lobster pappardelle and Bolognese pasta all around) but no mention of the freezing air coming down on us.2nd reminder to our waiter to look into this bothersome AC situation. 15min later, still Nothing. I had put up my collar and the kids put their hoodies back on. Oh, look, waiter came back to check on our meal!3rd reminder to address this AC issue and I pleaded; “can you please do Something”His response : « I can get you a larger napkin to wrap around your neck ». I guess he was joking but, I knew where this was going. Long story short, it took 7 requests until a manager intervened and cranked down the AC. Finally!Meanwhile, we had not seen our waiter in order 1h15 or so. Actually, last time we saw him was when he opened our bottles of wine. All along the diner, we were serving ourselves. Not a big ask of course you might say, but I guess this waiter fundamentals were not a priority. This was embarassing for him.Oh, we also had to request some water at some point since Casper the waiter had never came by. Nor were we offered pepper, oil or parm.Unfortunately, due to the size of our party, gratuity was included. This is one rare time I would have literally added a big 0 on the dotted line. 1 out of 10 (at least he showed up to work that day).As far as the food is concerned, the appetizers were good and so was the Bolognese. Interestingly enough, two of the priciest plates on the menu were the worst. The pasta with veal plate must have weighted 2-3lbs. The plate consists of a mountain of pasta and topped with 3 large veal cutlets. The pasta was literally bathing in a clear bland sauce that brought out no flavors. Perhaps it was to dip the lifeless fried veal cutlets, i don't know. The pasta was Al Dente, but only the pasta that wasn’t submerged in the swimming pool below. 2 out of 10Second failed plate scored the same mainly for the same reason. My lobster pappardelle had a good lobster meat ratio and the pasta was also Al Dente. I had so much liquid it was almost like a soup – seemed like it was pasta water mixed with the lobster water and a couple chucks of butter. Senseless and uninspired. I calculated about 1 1/2 cups of liquid that remained once I finished. 2 out of 10.So, as we left from our cold, lackluster evening, I wondered what this mediocre amateur of a waiter may purchase with the mandatory gratuity. Plenty of things I’m sure considering the 534$ total. I would suggest a basic online acting class to project a smile and sense of caring first.Anyway, clearly not going back. But I am looking forward to the better service offered at Sbarro in Penn Station.

Long wait for food. One dish was good but two were not, Seafood Risotto. Dry and salty. We both left half of risotto. Wouldn't dare add the grated cheese to it! Apps were the best . Burata and Beet Salad.

Very empty when we arrived at opening but by the time we finished our delicious meal, it was packed with hungry diners. The veal chop was cooked to perfection (lining towards the rare side) My wife's vongole with spicy marinara was the best she had ever had. And not too spicy. The servers were very efficient and non intrusive. We WILL be back!

The food was seasoned and cooked to perfection! The service was top notch and wait staff worked as a team to ensure your glass was never empty and the pace of your meal was perfect for a casual or romantic evening.

The bar area was quite nice. Drinks were great, and we had good conversations with the folks there. Our dining room experience was just as amazing as it always is! Terrific server, and the appetizers and entrees were exceptional. It was our anniversary, and they brought us a dessert to share. We were a bit full, but it was a nice finish to our wonderful meal. We go there once a year when we visit Ogunquit, and it never disappoints!

Restaurant was very busy, which is expected because it is so good. We had a 7:30 reservation but opted to have dinner at the bar. Service was great, friendly bartenders and food was great per usual.

The first place we were seated, there shouldn't have even been a table there because of the traffic. We requested to be moved to another table and the room that we were seated in was so loud we couldn't even hear each other talk. My wife got eggplant Parmesan that was oddly thin. So thin you couldn't even really taste and tell that it was eggplant. I got veal Parmesan that was prepared and fried really well but the sauce was very bland and did nothing to excite my taste buds. The couple we were with got a sautéed scallop dish that he really enjoyed, and his wife got chicken marsala, which had a red kind of color to it, that we all thought was strange. She said it was just average and not anything special. we had great service and the drinks were all good as well. All in all, there's too many restaurants in the area to go back to this one again.

Ordered anti pasta for two and it was a very generous portion. We ordered veal saltimbocca and chicken Marsala. Both very tasty and prepared in a red sauce. Different than we are used to but very tasty.

Menu had many options. Staff was attentive and very professional. Drinks were average at best. My chicken cacciatore was quite good and my wife's eggplant Parmesan was quite average. She's had better. Overall it was a new restaurant for us to experience and would go back again in the future.

We enjoyed both traditional Italian dishes very much! The marinara sauce was fresh, zesty and thick and the cacciatore sauce was delicious and unique! Staff was friendly, prompt and helpful! Can't wait to go back!

Dinner was great at Roberto's. The clams Casino appetizer was tasty, but not huge. The entrees were very good, especially the lobster ravioli, and the wine we had was both good and fairly priced. Our server, Ana, was attentive but not hovering.

This experience could have been so much better. The staff was spread pretty thin and were overworked. We felt ignored and had to ask for tea refills, water, extra sauce, etc. I love homemade meatballs and expressed this to our waitress. She agreed that I should try the linguine and meatballs over the chicken piccata. The marinara was sublime; rich in flavors and not too “herby.” But there was not enough of it and I had to ask for more. And meatballs should be flavorful and tender. These were SO tough, they could barely be cut with a knife. I left 3/4 of my two. The swordfish was good, a nice piece of fish and the capellini with marinara was excellent. Service was poor, as mentioned above. We will probably not return.
