I've been getting this place since I was a kid. When I was younger their chowder use to have two whole clams. It's just not The same anymore!

Quality food. I had escargot and French onion soup after a sopping wet but fun evening cruise out of Peggy's Cove. The quality of the product was evident and preparation was top notch. Highly recommended.

There are quite a few " smart casual" dining options in Ogunquit and I cannot claim to have tried them all, but , of those I have sampled That Place stands out. It is a small town average floor plan that lends an air of intimacy to a roomy vibe. The service is highly trained and knowledgeable but without being pretentious. As for the menu, it is large enough for choice but simple enough to suggest specificity and care for each dish. Escargots seem to be out of favor these days but here they immediately caught my attention and did not disappoint! Neither did the generous and perfectly cooked pork chop. Utterly delicious! My Hendricks martini arrived with a slice of cucumber as garnish- a stroke of genius- and has since become my sine qua non ( if you can persuade the bar tender to supply the cucumber!) Go on spoil yourself!! You'll thank me afterwards.

Have wanted to try this place for a while and finally got to it on a rainy, Monday night in October. The ambiance was lovely with the stone fireplaces in the dining room. Festive fall decorations outside really added to the Halloween holiday. Food was very good - really enjoyed my carbonara with chicken and mom enjoyed her stuffed haddock. My French onion soup (my favorite) did not disappoint. We look forward to returning soon.

The food was excellent. The scallop appetizer is incredible. Will order that every time I go back - it's a must!

We usually love this restaurant but it was average at best this time. First, you cannot make a reservation for two.....and once seated, we ordered a bottle of wine - which we found out they were out of? The waitress made no substitute suggestion. Ok. We order drinks and ordered salads and dinner. We then hear the waitress at a other table recite specials - our waitress never bothered to tell us about specials. Too bad. We then go to retrieve our car from the valet - who we watch damage another patron's car by backing into a gas grill outside at the neighboring property. He acted like nothing at all happened. Yikes. I might venture down the road before I stop there again

We had to wait over an hour for the table, and I still thought it was worth it. I’d even wait 1hr30 if i had to. We ordered the French onion soup, mussels, lobster crostini and the crab-stuffed shrimp. Everything, i mean everything, was exceptional and mouth-watering. Bara, our waitress, was really kind and asked all the right questions. I would not hesitate to return here next time we’re in Ogunquit. 10/10!

Came here a few weeks ago and the service, atmosphere and food were all great. I was lucky to make a Saturday dinner reservation for 4 the day of. We started with the blue cheese mussels for the table. The flavor was great, but the mussels were very small.. most smaller than a dime. Maybe it was a bad batch of mussels or not the season? Anyways the flavor was still good and we got some warm bread that was great for soaking up the sauce. We also got french onion soup which was delicious. For mains, my husband and I shared the broiled seafood trio and carbanara. Both were delicious and the seafood was fresh and yummy. The shrimp were large and my favorite. My friends got the beet salad and cajun snapper which they also enjoyed. The cajun snapper was a quite large generous size too.
