Adorable cafe style shop right in the heart of Ogunquit! Fresh delish options, a switch up from the typical fried food in the area which I loved. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and homemade! The staff is attentive and answered all questions! They are gluten free friendly which is a huge plus and they keep all things separate which is a huge plus for a celiac. A clean, bright , and fresh atmosphere that has a very beachy vibe! Has quickly become a favorite spot! Would recommend over and over again!

Ordered Mac and cheese. It was only about 3/4 full and tasted like it was just watery velvetta cheese in it. Totally more like thick soup not baked Mac and cheese. Other person got soba salad which tasted good but “small” container was only about 2/3 full! Very disappointing

The decor is spot on. We seemed to be inconveniencing staff. No prices are posted, which is annoying. They were out of several things on the menu as well. My party ended up just getting drinks since everything else we asked for was not available. Two of us ordered lemonades, which were way too sweet. I watered mine down, my friend tossed hers.

What a wonderful find! Service was quick, the lobster roll was delicious and fresh but the lemonade was the unexpected star. They have so many refreshing flavours made with puréed fruit. Highly recommend.

I just finished devouring their sweet and savory avocado toast and I immediately want seconds. So delicious, I definitely want to try more. Love the buzzer system for when food is ready to be picked up at the counter, as it avoids the crowding at the front of the shop. The iced coffee was a little weak but I’ll give it a pass because the food was so good lol

2nd salad had no flavor in the dressing ??‍♀️ - do not get the corn salad unless you like bland flavors

We went to get breakfast this morning and was disappointed with the product. All three breakfast sandwiches were cold when served to us. The bagels the kids got were good and the avocado toast was great. Unfortunately, the three cold sandwiches was enough to leave a poor review. The price of the food was very high for what you actually got. The atmosphere was cute and the staff was friendly. Based on our experience with the cold food, we would not recommend nor go back ourselves.

We went in a bunch of times during our stay in the area! Great friendly staff, cute bright setting, delicious lemonades, and yummy subs (super fresh bread). Our son said it was the best grilled cheese!

"I recently visited The Beach Basket Café and had a fantastic experience. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. The menu offers a great variety of delicious options, from freshly brewed coffee to mouth-watering salads. I especially loved their freshly squeezed lemonade – it was so fresh and flavorful. Overall, The Beach Basket Café is a gem in Ogunquit Maine and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delightful cafe experience."

Very odd layout, limited selection of menu items. Strangely the only cheese they offer for subs is American. Worst thing, they package the sandwiches in plastic (industrial compostable) clamshells rather than wrapping in paper or paper clamshells. This made for soggy sandwiches by the time we got to the beach, and extra trash.

Yum! The perfect messy ham sub with all the good stuff. Great spot to get out of the sun and fuel up for the afternoon.
