We regularly visit Ogunquit and have eaten at the Crooked Pine multiple times. The food has always been excellent. Last night my wife had the Halibut. So disappointed as it was really over cooked and dry as sawdust. We told the server and as well as other patrons at the bar who had just ordered the same. We specifically told the bar tender we insist on paying, and I'm not saying it to get out of a check. The other person at the bar who ordered the halibut sent her's back as it to was over cooked. Halibut is a delicat fish that need to be cooked right. Very surprised as my sword fish was great. The chef needs to pay attention when cooking halibut. You have more leeway with cod, salmon, or sword. I was surprised that we were not offered a desert of after dinner drink. A $34 entree needs to be properly prepared. I would go back as I still think it is one of the best restaurants in Ogunquit. Stay away from the halibut.

A bit hit or miss. Service was very good. We started with the wings and the cornbread. Wings were great, bread just tasted like honey. We then had a salad with salmon and a whitefish with pasta. Both proteins were so-so, the salmon was overcooked, but the pasta and salad underneath were excellent. Nice outside patio.

It was abusy Saturday night and we didn't have reservations. The mgr seated us almost immediately! The place was bustling but Jimmy gave us great service and the chef even brought us our entrees.

The Crooked Pine is a gem in a touristy town where tacky restaurants often prevail. Our dishes were excellent, reasonably priced and generously portioned. We sat on their cute and quiet patio, but the inside looked like it had good vibes as well. Service was excellent, Duke took great care of us.

My husband and I ate here Thursday evening. We didn’t have a reservation but the incredibly kind staff accommodated us with an outdoor table by the fire pit. I cannot express enough how wonderful the restaurant staff is. They have this uniquely chill vibe that makes you feel at home. My husband’s burger and my salmon sandwich were fantastic. And the cocktails were awesome too. This place is top notch!

This place is not child friendly. I felt so unwelcome and uncomfortable dining here with my 2 year old. The food was really amazing, but I will not be returning because of how they treat guests with children. We should have left when we were told they do not have high chairs and will tell you they will read you a children’s menu if you need it. The overall vibe towards us was not friendly, and unfortunately that really ruined the entire dining experience.
The classic burger was very juicy. It was amazing. The service was really great! One of the servers cleaned my sweater even though it wasn’t his fault that it got dirty. The server that served me and my family was extremely nice and made us feel comfortable. I think his name was Joseph. He is very chill.

If you are looking for an awesome restaurant right in downtown Ogunquit - this is the place for you. Appetizers, Dinner, and drinks were off the chart. We had the Brie Toast, Mussels, and Scallops for Appetizers, the Haddock and Steak for Dinner. Yum! The staff were attentive and so friendly. We were not disappointed with anything we ordered and would highly recommend The Crooked Pine for a great dinner.
