Great atmosphere , great service and good food. Lobster was a bit small / didn’t feel as fresh as in Perkins Cove but was still amazing.

Everything was great - food was delicious. Good sizes for portions and .kat importantly - it all tasted fresh. We walked in at 4:10 and they sat us down, when we left it was crazy busy!

An absolute gem in Ogunquit, the seafood is as fresh as it gets, and flavor of the dishes are amazing. We had oysters, crab cake, Brussels, lobster risotto and the seafood Newburg. While everything is delicious, the Newburg gets a special shoutout for the unique flavor profile, would come back just for that! Our server Drew was attentive and had spot on recommendations. This is a must visit spot, we can’t wait to be back!

Clam linguini which is great at Robert’s in Kittery (same owners) was awful here. Minuscule and tough clams and glutenous pasta which stuck together. Server not interested (‘never heard that before.’) A dish to be avoided at all costs.

Serious food, unserious service. My companion had the baked haddock and it was delicious, well seasoned and accompanied by grilled broccolini, which elevated the dish.

I opted for the seafood newburg, and though it did not have the standard puff pastry, the grilled bread was enough to suffice, and it was fantastic.

The downside was that I felt like we were bothering the waiter, i handed in a dirty fork that was in my service, and I was five minutes into eating my meal with another service that was brought to me by the kitchen runner, before our waiter asked if he brought me a fork.

Our water glasses were not refilled, and we were not contacted throughout the meal Until nearly the very end.

For the two of us, it was nearly a hundred dollars, and the restaurant was not very busy, as in there were four tables full on our side of the restaurant and three waitstaff.

Again, the quality of the food is not in question, but service overall seems to need a reboot.

We were told about this place by a sweet gal at the Colonial Inn . It is this quaint looking establishment from the outside … Lovely rustic decor inside . Excellent service by Drew … They made my granddaughter a delicious mocktail and our cocktails were perfect .. The fried clams and crabcakes were the best we’ve ever had. My husband had brown butter Halibut… Best he has had … and he’s had Alaskan halibut . My granddaughter had lobster risotto. Delicious.I had lobster linguini… Just perfect! My granddaughter also tried oysters from the seafood bar … Loved them . Dessert was fresh blueberry pie and chocolate cake with a peanut butter ganache filling .. Both so yummy!
Fantastic spot worth every penny ! Don’t miss this place in Ogunquit Maine

Main courses (fish & chips, baked haddock were very good. BUT the steamed clams appetizer was loaded with sand. Tip: clams are supposed to be purged for at least 2 hrs in salt water + another hour of rinse to rid them of sand. Who likes sandy, gritty clams?

We had a delicious meal. Our waitress was so very nice. I have a gluten allergy and I just asked about the things I wanted and she was very knowledgeable and helpful, I had the grilled scallops and omg they were amazing. My husband loved the salmon and his side of cornbread.

Once again Maine Catch restaurant on Shore Dr, has proven, to be bar none one of if not the best restaurants in Ogunquit. We had, absolutely fabulous food, Fried clam App. AMAZING, filet with rice cooked perfect, my Halibut with mashed, in Brown butter cooked to perfection. An absolute treat across the board. Ashley our bartender fantastic. A 4.4 rating is ridiculous. I can respect those people who don’t know food or the industry.

My family and I have eaten at this restaurant a few times now. Food is always excellent, tasty, and quick to come out. The servers are always very attentive and easy to work with us since we have small children. They are on the pricey side, but it is definitely worth the money. Only area of improvement would be the people working the hostess area. They are typically less than friendly. Still 5 stars overall.
