My friends and I have been here few times in hopes for a good experience at trivia night, however this will be our last time due to extremely poor service. Our server was Gabby. She took our drink orders but then continued to help other tables who came in after us with their food orders. Our drinks were ready at the bar and she instead texted on her phone in front of them for minutes and still didn’t bring them. Actually continued to bring out other peoples drinks. We had to ask another server for take our food order because we waited a very long time. The larger table that came in after us got their food before our order was even taken. We had to do the same with waters after asking our server multiple times. We eventually had to ask for a pitcher from a different server who brought it immediately because we were tired of having to wait. We were never checked on or asked if our food was good or if we need anything else. Other servers brought out our food, she didn’t know what check went to who and we had to pass them out to each other. She asked each one of us at the end what we had ordered and then proceeded to hand out an incorrect bill. We had our old plates on the end of the table stacked nicely to be removed and they sat there the entire time we were there leaving us little to no room. We have had worse times with this server but it was very busy so it was a bit more understandable. This was the slowest trivia night we have ever been too. I wouldn’t be leaving this review if it wasn’t necessary but after having multiple terrible times with this server, we will not be back.

We ordered three things:
2 vegetarian burritos 1 vegetarian quesadilla
1 persons burrito was mediocre, which was the highlight of our order
1 persons burrito just tasted bad. The seasoning wasn't super there and they weren't a big fan of the vegetable mix inside
While the burritos can be chalked up to preference, the "vegetarian" quesadilla was a nightmare. It had chicken, which was a downside. But I've been meaning to try eating meat again so I ate it anyways. Maybe i need more time. The chicken was stringy and underseasoned, and the cheese wasn't melted at all. The Chiles that were supposed to be inside were M.I.A and the side gauc + sour cream was instead just a mountain of sour cream.
I'd reccomend going to the Mexican place across the street instead. They always forget the gauc, but at least they don't utilize a chicken lottery.

The host was quite rude to us. Went there and requested a table for two people, and we were asked to wait 25 minutes or just sit at the bar to which we agreed. A lot of the tables (3-4 person tables) were vacant and we were not offered one because they are for “bigger parties”. we requested the bartender to seat us in a table and not by the bar. he was sweet and got us a table quickly. The same host returned to our table and told us (almost yelled at us) that we can’t seat ourselves twice even when we insisted that the bartender seated us. She left the table and didn’t even care to apologize. It’s my favorite restaurant in the area but i’m disappointed with the experience. They didn’t have Shrimp/Pork dishes even we were there quite early in the evening.

I grew up eating at Margaritas, and now we go every year in July for our family reunion, as a family tradition as well as for birthdays and anniversaries. We went this past Friday evening, making a reservation for 6:30 pm ahead of time for a party of 8. It was fairly busy, but still had open tables. Unfortunately our experience was terrible this year. All three of our bowls of chips were extremely stale. We asked for new chips, and those did seem better as they were warm and not stale. No big deal. After our server took our food and drink order, though, she never came back to our table until after we were eating our food, and we had to go to the host stand to ask her to come to our table. We had empty waters, empty drinks, and zero napkins. A food runner or manager brought our food, and our server never checked on our food or came back to ask us if we needed anything. She had 3 tables in the room we were in besides us, and she came in and checked on each of the other tables and did not visit ours. Three of us ordered fajitas, and two were cold when we got them. The quality of the food has significantly gone down. Our server forgot to bring out the two children’s drinks. We finished eating and waited so long for our server to come back that our parents had to go find her a second time to give us our check. I understand that restaurants may be busy and understaffed, but a server not returning to a table during a 90 minute period without being sought out is unacceptable. This was a special occasion for us, and we still tipped our server over 20%, but we’re hesitant to come back next year.

my experience at margaritas is always amazing. I’m greeted immediately as i walk through the door and the service is quick and efficient. everyone here is welcoming especially the manager. she is always starting conversations and making sure our food is up to par. i recommend margaritas to all my family and friends!
