The food was good, however coffees took forever (while the place wasn't busy) and didnt taste all that special. The food and drinks were also super expensive, and not something I would regularly pay for the quality presented. The atmosphere was nice, but the pickup spot was all the way at the end which makes hearing your orders difficult. Organizational, volume, and labeling at the pickup counter could improve.

The gentleman behind the counter is world-class at making people feel individually attended to. There isn't much room to wait for your order, but definitely worth the wait. Great coffee!

I went to the Bangor Nest location today and it was absolutely freezing. Many of the girls working behind the counter were bundled up in winter jackets. Even the other customers sitting down eating food were also wearing their jackets. I cannot imagine having to work in such terrible conditions. Most concerningly, I witnessed an employee on the floor behind the counter using a hairdryer to thaw equipment. Hot drinks, including espresso and regular hot coffee, were unavailable due to their pipes being frozen. I was hoping to sit in the cafe and enjoy a breakfast sandwich and hot latte but it felt like it was under fifty degrees in there.
I had the most delicious burrito this morning. A lovely girl (I think her name is Makenna) made it, and it was DELICIOUS! All of the employees were so kind and helpful. It seemed like they really cared about their customers experience. The atmosphere was so cute and relaxing for studying. The music was fire.

It's a very popular spot so some days you can't sit down and the line goes out the window. The service is good but not very personal.

Food was good, no issues there. Staff was respectful. Wished there was better planning in seating and tables. Lots of wasted space with big long tables that are not functional. Wished we could have had a space inside to eat though what limited seating was available was full. Maybe another time I’ll try again. Overall it was an average experience

Everything I got was really nice. Loved the avocado toast and smoothie. My son loved his yogurt parfait.

Full of students and unable to get a seat for me and my 3 friends. Disappointed.

I guess I didn’t realize there were two Nest cafés but the one in Orono is FAR SUPERIOR to the one in Bangor. Mocha was phenomenal (so no need to drive all the way to St. John anymore), bagel sandwiches were fantastic, atmosphere could be a little cozier but pretty good all around. Definitely the go to spot for coffee or breakfast!

It was super hot in there I felt like I was gonna pass out the food was good but I asked for scrambled eggs and they have me over easy practically oozing. Other then that I had a good experience. Might go again. Prices are definitely high if you use to getting drinks for 8$ then it would be average. A good tourist food spot for something quick and good.

Cozy, warm and friendly. The coffee is awesome and the pasties are great. My partner got the Acai bowl and loved it.

Was going here pretty consistently with my boyfriend for a while. The food is great but it’s not a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff is not friendly and the cafe itself is not kept clean. My boyfriend and I decided to start going next door to Golden Bean…much better experience.
