Okay, this is my experience. Ordered a delivery and it was totally screwed up, so that was disappointing, but when I called the manager was great and gave me a refund for my portion of the order and told me to just stop by and I could get product. Felt it was totally reasonable. But then I went to the restaurant. I just cannot bring myself to eat from a place so worn down and dirty. Every surface I made contact with was either sticky or oily. Hubby and I stood near the end of the counter and waited. There was only one couple seated and truly no one upfront was working...one person was on their phone and a couple were laughing and goofing around. The longer I stood there the more I was gagged out by the place. Finally I said let's go and that was that. I give it two stars because my spouse liked his pizza...I am just glad I didn't eat any. Your call on how badly you want pizza regardless of how clean the kitchen is where it was cooked. Good luck.

We are regulars at Pat's Pizza in Orono. We like the congenial staff service and the pizza is good. I have tried several other menu items but my favorite is the pizza. Our personal favorite is the chicken jubilee! We prefer the marinara sauce over standard pizza sauce. The marinara sauce is especially flavorful and robust. The atmosphere is very family friendly and the pricing is excellent. There are only 2 pizza sizes but the small is basically a medium sized pie and the large is very large. It's common to be taking home leftovers! The staff make menu changes/substitutions to accommodate special requests which I often do an easy option! Order mistakes are rare but when and if, they are quickly rectified and we have seen it happen without a charge on the check! There is parking front and rear but the rear parking is a lot off the street and easier.

We went there on a Saturday afternoon before the UMaine hockey game. This was my first time there but my husband had been there many years earlier. First, the staff told us to seat ourselves but didn’t mention that the menu was limited to pizza, cheese bread and calzones - the grill wasn’t operating until 3 pm. While it wouldn’t be a big deal for some, it’s a big deal for our picky preschool age kids. My kids wouldn’t eat anything available. Second, my husband’s pepperoni pizza came out with grease under the crust. My son tried it but it was odd texture with oil on bottom of crust. Third, my 4 year old had a meltdown over the pizza so I took him outside to calm down. While outside on a bench, I discovered that the front door was locked and no one could get inside. I went to door and frantically knocked. Finally another customer let another couple in (they said they would tell staff when they got in). I went back to the bench to get my kid and when I returned to door it was locked again. I frantically knock again. Minutes go by until a staff member opens door for me. No apology or anything. My husband spilled his Diet Coke and staff just walked by while he was visibly wet and needed help. I had to get up and ask for a towel. They brought a used dish rag. Overall, it was awful. My husband loves Pat’s Pizza but this was nightmare.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. Unreliable menu for picky eater kids. You can get locked outside with your kid without any apology. They just watch you walkout without telling you that they locked the front door.
Hometown slice of heaven! Do yourself a favor and go here for dinner!

Food gone way downhill there since my family friend CD left there a long time ago. A few weeks ago was the first time I been there since I was just a little kid and the food is just not the same.

Got a large cheese pizza, it was definitely pretty greasy. The cheese was pretty good, had a nice texture. Sauce was really good, had a nice balance of sweetness and acidity. Crust was doughy but not chewy. I'm more familiar with Greek style and Neapolitan, this was definitely different. Fast service, was ready in 10min as they promised. Pretty good overall, would try again.
