Let's be real, I came into orono hungry and burnt 30 minutes before Yamas closed. They not only served us great food, the service was amazing, and I get it, no one likes customers that close to closing, but we were treated so nicely. Go there, get those nachos and cold Guinness into ya, and have a dope evening.

The service was good but the steak tips and mashed potatoes were so salty I couldn’t eat them as well as the broiled scallops. Told the server and he apologized and said he would mention this to the cook. Did not offer to replace my food or even take a percentage off my bill. I like salt but this was over the top! My dinner companion’s order was salty as well. Ordered my tips medium rare, got them well done. Scallops were over cooked. This was first time at this restaurant, had great reviews so wanted to try. I don’t know if the cook was having a bad night or maybe new. I probably won’t be going back.

I’ve lived in the Orono area for almost 8 years. I’ve never seen an owner be more disrespectful and condescending towards her employees and customers. Alex, is the worst business owner I have ever encountered. Stay away! Woodman's, Thai Orchid, Pats Pizza, and Tacorita are in the same plaza. Go to anyone of those other places!

I have to say we were very disappointed with tonight’s dinner. The restaurant had a large party scheduled for 5 pm and we got to the restaurant before the big party. We had a reservation for 10 at 5 pm as well. From start to finish our dinner was 2.5 hours. While the staff was very accommodating with putting up umbrellas to block the sun for outside seating, our table was right next to the dumpsters so we had to deal with flies and the smell on an 80+ degree day. Because we had to deal with the wait and the flies/smell, it skewed our appetites when dinner was served. The food was okay but dealing with the entirety of the dinner plus the awful atmosphere, we won’t be back.
