This is probably my favorite place in all of Oxford County. The pizza, beer and location are incredible! Don't drive by without stopping in!
We ordered a couple beers and a cheese pizza and sat at the bar. The pizza was one of the best we've ever had. Dan, I think his name was, is awesome. So knowledgeable about all the beers, how they are made etc. Super guy. The interior is super cool, simple and rustic decor. Tons of outside tables so I'm sure its great in the summer. You can buy bundles of wood and hang around a fire too. Great place!

Meh, it's awesome if you visit once a year or if you're from out of town. The atmosphere is decent if not overly choreographed. The staff is friendly, though some of the guys are just super cool, maybe slightly territorial. The food is expensive for what you get, and the menu is limited. When I go there too often, I start to feel like I'm at a buddy's frat house. If it was 2 minutes from my house rather than 20, I think I'd still feel like it was a destination spot rather than a part of the community.

The team, the venue, the food, the drinks, EVERYTHING is tremendous at Oxbow. We had our wedding there this summer and everyone who attended commented on how outstanding it was. The staff, in particular, are welcoming, kind, friendly, and generous with their time, energy, and enthusiasm. Best wedding ever, and will definitely recommend it to other couples considering Maine venues!

We had our wedding at Oxbow Beer Garden in July 2023. We could not have asked for a better experience and staff. Our planner, Rebecca, was very organized and worked hard to make the day as smooth as possible. They accommodated food requests that they had never done before (a tinned fish board!) and they were excited to do so. They worked in tandem with our vendors and just generally made the day great. We lucked out with the weather, but I’ve heard that even with rain people have had great experiences.It is a gorgeous venue with great staff and great food/drinks. It was also very reasonably priced with the cost of the venue, catering, staff, seating, and flowers all included. Definitely get married here!

Located off the beaten path, there is potential here that was NOT met during our visit. The atmosphere is cool and we liked the fact they allow pets (outside) but our pizza wasn’t anything special given the price. It was soggy and lacked flavor. Also, I do agree with another reviewer who stated you do all the work yet are asked to give a tip when paying.
We held our rehearsal dinner at the Oxbow Beer Garden and everything was absolutely spectacular. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, with magical string lights and beautiful arrangements of pumpkins and florals. Even on a rainy and cold autumn evening, the space heaters and warm apple cider kept everyone comfortable and content. The staff, servers, and bartenders were kind, courteous, and professional, and Rebecca and her team were extremely helpful throughout the planning process. And the food was wonderful as well—the pizza was delicious and the kale salad delectable (our guests are still talking about it). We couldn’t have dreamed of a better rehearsal venue and are grateful to have teamed up with Oxbow for this special occasion.

When we got engaged, Oxbow was the first place that jumped to mind as our venue because we loved the idea of getting married somewhere we already loved spending time at. It also seemed like the perfect place for a wedding that we didn't want to feel too fussy but didn't comprise on a stylish ambiance or great food. Our past interactions with the staff at Oxbow also made us feel like we'd be in good hands -- and that couldn't have been more true for our event this past October. Rebecca and her team were so friendly, communicative and thoughtful; they took most of the the stress out of planning our event, even when we realized that it was going to rain in the days leading up to our wedding. Before we even reached out, they had ideas for how to adjust our plans for the weather, prepped the venue to combat any mud, and in the end, the weather didn't put a damper on the celebration at all. For a venue that we partially chose for its outdoor space, it's a real testament to Oxbow that we still had such a great time in the drizzle, especially under the big pavilion that we lit up with lights and candles, and inside the cozy, rustic restaurant. (Our guests loved it too!) We love that we got married at a place that we can return to for a beer and a pizza all year round, and would totally recommend it to other couples. 11/10.

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner at the Oxbow Beer Garden in Oxford and we couldn't recommend this venue more for either a rehearsal dinner or a wedding! Rebecca and her entire team were SO helpful every step of the way and made every single moment of the night so special. Our event was an absolute dream! Between the florals the venue supplied and the incredible food that was served every single guest, including ourselves, were totally blown away. Our event was back in June and we still have family who tell us how spectacular our rehearsal dinner was!Also, and very importantly, the beer + drinks were so incredible! Overall, this is a 10/10 location to have a wedding or rehearsal dinner - the team at Oxbow will go above and beyond to make your dreams come true!!

Not for me. Salad was over dressed and although advertised as a greens and radishes salad, had no radishes and for the price I was disappointed. Pizza crust was burnt (actually black) and center of pizza crust was paper thin. Beer was good. Again, just not for us.
