Nice, white tablecloth restaurant with upscale menu. Service was indifferent, food was average and kitchen was a bit slow. I'm not a local and was expecting a bit better based on price and appearance. It was a nice, quiet place to dine with friends.

I first learned of Maurice restaurant more than 10 years ago. We finally made it this weekend, and it was worth the wait! We started with the french onion soup, which had great depth of flavor and perfect balance of crouton and cheese. I had the duck à l'orange, which was perfectly moist, but also crispy on the outside with a delicious orange sauce. My husband had the twin filets with brandy peppercorn and bernaise sauces. The steak was cooked perfectly and well-seasoned, and the sauces were delightful. We both had potatoes au gratin and broccoli for sides. The potatoes were just the right amount cheesy and creamy. We finished with the creme brulee, which I have to say is one of the best I've ever had. All of this for an incredibly reasonable price and with great service. We can't wait to go back!

Wow, this place had a 50th anniversary and we have been coming to Norway ME some 29+ years.. oh boy… How did we ever miss this place. Thanks Steve S., we would have never found this place even though they are almost across from Advanced Auto Parts. For starters, good beer selection for me, my wife had an Appletini, the bread and butter, great. Details, soft butter, someone started some early prep work, simply awesome in my book. We had sirloin tip stuff mushrooms, which were good. My wife had the French onion soup, which she enjoyed. I had the crab crumb haddock, which was very good. Lastly, one of my favorite deserts after eating almost any meal is Crème Brûlée, it’s so freaking good, and lite to eat, my wife and I always share our desert, otherwise it’s just too much.. Glad we have another place to visit here in Norway. Thank you Jenn, our great hostess.

A hidden jem in South Paris. Not only did we have the pleasure of having dinner there, we were also able to attend a private party. What a treat this place was. Starting with the great service and great drinks, I knew we were in for a treat. My friends complimented the Caesar salad & their drinks as well. My first night I had steak, followed by chicken Alfredo the second trip back the night after. Everything from the starters to dessert was so good. I had two crème brûlée. Good food, great people. Can’t wait to go back.

What a gem! Needs a bit of attention on the outside, but the inside of full excellent food and a staff to match!!❤️
Have been coming here for years and have had an exceptional meal every single time. The service is fantastic. I highly recommend this place
I have been going there for over thirty years. Never a bad meal. It's a completely different experience than the chain restaurants, and here is why. Reservations. They really need to get a good idea of how many are dining. This isn't the plastic chain restaurant where they slap a frozen factory cooked meal into the microwave. The chef obtains the best and freshest ingredients available. Your food isn't coming to your table in 2 minutes. There is an actual chef preparing an actual meal. The staff takes pride in what they do. The servers are professional. It's what fine dining is supposed to be. Take your time, enjoy the cozy setting, and for the love of all that's holy....get dessert.
Great service and food. Scallops were terrific. Steak just a little tough. French onion soup was great
