Easily the best fried haddock and waffle fries I have ever had. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. I can't tell you what made the fries so good, because they didn't appear to be anything special, but they blew my mind. I'll definitely be back!
I would rate Craig's Clam Shop‘s haddock burger & onion rings the best in the USA! Well, their clams and scallops are too! However, the haddock burger is my absolute favorite! They are so good that a crow or black bird actually swooped down and took my mom’s (Loretta Palmer Goin) right off the picnic table a year or so ago. She jumped up and grabbed her burger from the crow and managed to salvage half of it😂 and yes, she did eat it! She said it was too delicious...
This is a tiny little place but absolutely delicious food. We stopped for seafood. We got the #2 platter, small lobster roll, and a haddock and scallop basket. We chose onion rings and waffle fries as sides. The food was delicious. Cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly, patient and helpful as we struggled to decide which food to order. The only thing we were disappointed in was the onion rings. Just not much flavor but the waffle fries were delicious. Definitely worth stopping...
