Unavoidable ! Well you have to go to Maine and not get lost on the road. But their lobster roll is worth the detour.

Delicious fried calamari and lobster rolls. The atmosphere is amazing - outdoor dining only. Time it right and see the Bagaduce falls flowing.Parking: Lots of parking down to the park area with the tables.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is on the same level as the road and accessible. Tables are in the park, down a hill, so a little challenging for people with disabilities.

Enjoy a tender, delicious lobster roll on the water. There are several picnic tables near the water behind the food stand next to the gravel parking lot.

The food is nothing short of incredible. Eating at the Bagaduce is an experience. Their fries are second to none. Their burgers are large and aren’t paper thin like a lot of take-out, roadside food place burgers. They were not over cooked and were full of flavor. The view is first rate, with an opportunity to walk on the shore, watch shore birds, occasionally horseshoe crabs, the reversing falls and often a cool breeze complements a hot day. We did have a small issue with bees bothering us, but it was mild. Bagaduce is a tradition for our family. If you’re a local, make it a tradition for yours too. If you’re from out of town, don’t miss this opportunity to patronize a small, family run Maine business and get some awesome seafood and fries as the same time, all while taking in a coastal Maine view that will leave you breathless.

Great spot for takeout if you are not in a hurry. Usually a wait in line then a wait for your order (45 mins to an hour the times we went) but they let you know before ordering. Also numbers called are in random sequence so don’t worry if you have a number and they call one way off. Food is so good and worth it! Be aware the speaker that they call your order number is extremely loud it echoes. Best to just wait by the water and not by the building. ;) Best crinkle cut fries I’ve ever had. Huge portion fish. Their ice cream looks so good. We will definitely be back !

This place is a local legend. No frills. Beautiful water views and picnic tables. The fish and chips that I had were delicious. Huge portions. Super fresh, lightly breaded. If I lived here I could see myself visiting regularly. I hear their soft serve is really good, but I had no room after the fish and chips.Parking: Gravel lot, next to the stand.

Bagaduce Lunch is a straightforward seafood (etc.) outdoor restaurant. Fried clams and fried haddock (I invariably get one or the other; this time it was clams) are expertly done, never overdone or heavy and greasy. I don't understand the complaints about lack of seasoning, since the whole point is to get really fresh ingredients that themselves taste great. Like any fried fish, you have to eat stuff promptly or it loses its crunch and sizzle. Complaints about the service or operation are to me hilarious. It's a clam shack right on the water. I hope they never landscape their amazing place, and I hope they never turn the space into an asphalted parking lot. It's a nice Maine family operation trying to do a darned good job. And BTW, clams, etc., are expensive ingredients these days. And you get a lot.

The best authentic Maine seafood joint. Could not recommend more highly! Such a cute spot and you can sit and eat right on the water. I also left my glasses at this spot and the staff were kind enough to mail them to me at home! <3 Go support these amazing people.

Burgers, fish, and fries served roadside and eaten on picnic tables by a lake. Definitely recommend the spicy tors! The place is very popular and lines can be long, but it is great if you aren't in a hurry.

The crown jewel of hidden jems of Maine's mom & pop dining experiences. (Shhh...don't tell Moody's diner.) The food is outstanding, the ambiance is Maine in the summer, nothing better! The service was pleasant, personable, and prompt. We did not wait a long time for our food. The prices are very fair and on par for the area, and the portions are amazing. Of course the seafood is to die for but they have traditional roadside fair(cheeseburgers and the like) as well. Don't skip the weeks featured softserve flavor after the food( there's always room for dessert!).Definitely worth the trip!Parking: Just find a spot.Kid-friendliness: It's OUTSIDE.If the tide is out there's adventure to be had.

While visiting Maine from NYC, we went here for food since there were not many options available in the area.We got fish and chips, a grilled cheese sandwich with onion fries and 2 tea lemonades.Everything was extremely oily and yet a bit stale. The fish did not feel fresh and was tough and stringy. The grilled cheese tasted like fake cheese and the tea lemonades were a little too sweet. The onion in the onion rings was so small and thin and it was mostly batter. The bathroom is only a porta potty, so I did not use it.We were ready to call it a fine experience, but when we were throwing the trash and recycling away, an old male employee in his undershirt started screaming at me since I had thrown the tea lemonade plastic cups in the blue recycling bin. He had a racist undertone and was screaming profanities and yelling that I cannot read.My husband got involved and tried explaining to him that there is a wide range of recyclables, but he yelled more and left the window!

This is 100% classic Maine fried food. Personally fried food is not my thing but it’s tough to say no to this restaurant and it’s magical location. Make sure you hop back in line and get the blueberry and vanilla twist! Ohhhhh my…….
