Probably one of the biggest hidden gems in Maine. My wife and I have been going to Vittles for years and we have never had a bad meal. Always leave super happy. They are also very kid friendly which makes it easy to go out with the two kids. Cant recommend then enough. Always delicious from scratch dishes. Everyone should be showing them some love!
Excellent service and food. Will definitely be back!
Used to be my go to place but quality has gone down. In need of updates.
I just found my new favorite lunch place. the food is delicious. the staff is friendly and made myself and lunch date like we were old friends coming home. can't wait to try breakfast and dinner. If you are out for a drive make this a stop you won't be disappointed!!
The chili is SO GOOD! The service impeccable. Well worth the stop.

This is a gem. The atmosphere was charming and welcoming especially for children. Homemade potato chips to go with my vegetarian sweet potato burrito. Everything was homemade and delicious. We will be back when we are in Maine again. Signed, Oregonians

I would not call it a restaurant..it had that Mayberry diner feel. The food was AMAZING!!!... You must try the fries...freshly cut and made to perfection...I would have to say..better than McDonald's (my opinion).. well worth the trip..?

We had the BEST experience at Vittles. We stopped for a late lunch with our two year old. The owner and our server went so far out of their way to make us feel welcome and our son happy. The food was great and their reputation for elevated diner fare is what brought us in, but their kindness really made the whole visit for us. They had books and toys, even bibs! Highly recommend.

Nice old building with a new restaurant inside. Food was excellent. Had the fried chicken sandwich. They put grilled peppers and onions on it. I never thought of that but it works very well.

Stopped on a road trip. Great place for everyone including especially for kids with a very cute play space. Food is high quality and homemade. The potato chips are amazing - homemade and obviously made from an actual potato. Lemonade also homemade and not sickly sweet.

Really awesome little spot. Service from Megan was unique, extremely personable and warm! The Italian sausage gravy on a biscuit was incredibly tasty, well balanced and was my best bite of 2024. Extremely excited to try dinner here soon! Thank you!
Parking: Parking behind the restaurant is available in abundance!

Gem of a breakfast (lunch or dinner) spot just off of 95 in Pittsfield, ME. Food was fresh and made from scratch, the service was more than attentive and the overall vibe was welcoming, so much so, you may choose to stay just a little bit longer. Bonus points: able to accommodate our food allergies, great cup of coffee and fun spaces for our kids to be creative. Thank you Megan and Rick for a great breakfast and experience.
Dietary restrictions: Able to easily accommodate food allergies.
Kid-friendliness: Playhouse with an assortment of toys, games and books also available.
