Amazing food at very good prices. Compliments to whomever was working the fryer at lunch on Saturday, the fried haddock, onion rings, and sweet potato fries were delicious and perfectly crispy. Best sweet potato fries I’ve ever had!
Some can't do the stairs, but everything else was WONDERFUL.
Outstanding, quality food and presentation and even better service from our server Nevaeh. The manager Charlene stopped in to chat and make sure our experience was exemplary. This hidden gem has earned our business twice in one week due to the high quality and overall positive experience. Highly recommend!
Tried this restaurant for the first time tonight - great food and very generous portions! Highly recommend
Handicap bathroom is in the pro shop which is typically open the same hours as Mel's. Thats on the 1st floor & there's a couple tables & a few high bar like tables w/ stools , Located in front of pro shop, is outdoor seating for ♿️ or folks unable to climb a few dozen stairs .No actual indoor seatingMost of the waitresses were awsome here, unfortunately. There only so much even a good cook can do ,when others are firmly stuck on.. repeating the same old same old menu year after year ..its lacking the charm & love, it once was full if decades ago.
Parking: Lots parking but no handicap entrance with elevator to allow folks to eat , dine inside the building. There's outside seating under the stairs and the porch above . Seating is outside the pro shop &A handicap bathroom is inside the pro shop .

We didn’t realize what we’ve been missing until our first visit last night- what a hidden gem! I love the option of late night dining on Tuesday and Wednesday and the views are absolutely perfect, especially sitting on the patio. The history of Poland Spring is fascinating and we feel so fortunate this is in our own town as we would travel for a place like this! We will see you regularly!
