So I BBQ is the one thing I’m great at. Got a classic two meat two side. Got brisket, sausage, potato salad and mac n’ cheese. Here were the goods AND the bads. Bad: 1. Sever couldn’t help because they didn’t even know the difference between flat and point meat. 2. Sausage was ok at best. Because it was loose in the casing and they gave it to me unsliced (what bbq place does that? Haha) 3. This was a to go order and they didn’t even give me utensils or napkins. 4. Potato salad was gross and grainy. 5. Parking was awful.
The good: 1. Brisket was great, I ask for flat and point. Even though the girl at the counter didn’t know anything, folks in the back got it done. Bake was great, not much of a smoke ring but that’s okay, it happens. 2. Sausage flavor dispute being messed up physically was pretty good. Think I’ll try the pulled pork with the brisket next time. 3. Menu is wild for a bbq place. Way too much going on, BUT it’s restaurant style (like a chilis), so I understand. 4. BBQ sauce was great (didn’t ask if it was made in house). 5. Cornbread and Mac n cheese were outstanding. Overall for northern Maine, this place was great and from my experience, they did t need to hide behind their squares!

Everything was good. Service was good. Only complaint, when ordering meat order it at least 1 level darker than standard. I ordered medium. Mine was rare. My wife ordered well done, hers was medium well. This has happened on our 2 most recent visits, so I assume it's the way the Cook makes things. But other than that. I recommend them.

Very nice place. The food is good. My wife and I really love the pretzel as our appetizer. Portions are generous and you will need a doggy bag. We visit about once a week.

Service was extremely great and friendly,the atmosphere was dim and quaint, the environment seemed very nice. Very great place for a date night. I had never heard of the place before tonight and I was very impressed! The portions are reasonable, and the food was amazing. The prices are a little up there but thats also coming from someone who rarely goes to resteraunts other than a drive through. Appetizers are tasteful, and the suppers are so filling I had to bring home half of what I ordered. Me and my partner definitely plan on going again

Food was very good. We were served pretty quickly. Another person and I both had the steak tips. Tender, flavorful and perfectly done. We all had Mac & cheese, 9/10. Very good.
Two choices of barbecue sauce on the table, one a little spicy, one a little sweet. We also had the pulled pork nachos for the table. Tasty and cheesy, only issue, as with all nachos, the cheese and meat missed the bottom chips. Portions were on the larger side. I walked away full.
I had a cocktail. It was tasty, good whiskey, and not pure alcohol. I enjoyed it because it wasn't too strong.
If I'm ever in the area again, this will be on my list to go to again.

Our third time, and always great! So much friggin food! Soo good. Definitely recommend getting the sampler, pick 3 of the apps! Wow! The pulled pork nachos were yummy, the wings tasted great and yep I added their bbq sauce for extra dipping! The nacho pulled pork fries are really good too. The cheese curds were spot on! I added a couple jalapeño cheddar links which are juicy and sooo yummy! Definitely recommend going! Come hungry cause the portions are huge!

This is our favorite restaurant as far as food goes. However, our experience varies greatly based on who we get as a server. We keep going back because the food never disappoints.
Great bbq. Never had a bad experience or food. Great staff. Very reasonable prices. Pretty much a go to spot for me and friends.

Food outstanding. Large portions. Came out fast and fresh. Service not so much. Had to ask for utensils, napkins, water, which should be automatic. Had the 99 Platter which is a great price. All great even portions except the coke slaw. Was super tiny in comparison to the rest of the sides which was disappointing because the rest of the sides were huge and coleslaw is cheap.

Let me start this review by saying that our server was wonderful, attentive and the best part about the dinner. However that is where the good stops. The brisket was so dry, I wasn't able to finish it. It had no flavor not even salt or pepper and the smoke ring was not existent. I also tried the turkey off another dinner member's plate, it had some noticeable smoke, flavor and a little bit of salt, but all in all was extremely bland. I don't know if I caught them on an off night or if this is how it always is, however, off of this experience, I wouldn't be able to recommend this restaurant in any good conscience.

Decebt BBQ sadly ruined with pickle juice as a garnish. Completely changes the flavor profile and ruins the meat and sides. That's a specific one, but a deal breaker for me
