Great food and friendly service. Prices are more than reasonable for the portions given. They also carry coke and Sprite from Mexico, which was a cool treat.
We had never eaten here, and decided to try it for dinner. They were about to close the kitchen but kept it open for us. Atmosphere was very nice, with comfortable seating and Mexican-themed decorations. The menu has a good variety of appetizers and main courses. We had loaded nachos as an appetizer, which were amazing. We also had taco salad bowls, which were very good. Also some thin beef tacos, which included flavorful sour onions slices and ample beef strips. That came with seasoned French fries, which were yummy. We had Mac and cheese off the good-sized kids menu. There was ample salsa and sour cream to go with everything. Service was fantastic and wait time was short. Prices were very reasonable. Overall we had a great meal and will definitely return. (There is also a full-sized bar).
We always have a wonderful meal at Mainly Mexican. I would recommend it very highly. Taco Tuesday is our favorite.
Really?! They're calling this garbage Mexican food? Well, anyway, it might be a novel for some of us, but the fact remains this food is greasy, soggy, and very, very unhealthy. Never mind the unsanitary conditions, or the not so polite, poorly trained staff, or the "cooks", this whole deal is un-American and unhealthy. Run from this spot. McDonald's is safer to eat at.
Enjoyable dining. Food was good quality and plentiful. Started with salsa and tortilla chips as well as Mexican stew. DELICIOUS! My wife had steak fajitas and I had the seafood enchilada. My meal was stuffed with shrimp and lobster meat. Maybe scallops too? It was full of seafood. Spouse was pleased with hers. Plenty of options for sides (I selected black beans and Mexican rice). Prompt and friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Reasonably priced.
We had the chicken taquitos which were perfect, the mild salsa with just a hint of spice. The street corn is delicious. And steak is perfectly tender. We had them while they were parked outside Piper Mountain Christmas Trees. Great ambiance as well
Kid-friendliness: Had Elf playing and mild smaller portions
Salad was bland. Shrimp small and overcooked. Not worth the money. Service was slow even though we were the only ones initially in the
Beans and rice filled the chicken enchilada with more beans and rice....not good... I cannot recommend
My spouse and I arrived at 1705 with high hopes for this place, while I had not eaten here before I love Mexican food.We got seated right away because only 4 other parties where there. We placed our order which was a half order of nachos and 5 tacos, we ordered them at the same time. We did not get our silverware. Our nachos came out and they were burnt.Shortly after we got the nachos the three more parties showed up, all with 4+ people (one party I think was 6 or 7 if you include the baby). We could not finish our nachos without silverware because there wasn’t enough chips. When We finished our nachos we waited 20 more minutes for our food , at this time a waitress came out with a rolling cart and several taco plates and we thought “oh there’s our food”, but no it was for all the other parties that came in after we had finished our nachos. We gave it another 10 minutes, which took us over 50 minutes and decided to call it and left.Aside from the poor service from our waitress who never once came over to ask us about our food, I wasn’t impressed with our nachos.
I really liked their Chipotle sauce the green salsa was out, would have liked to try. A bit disappointed on the beans I could taste they came from a can or got a bit of metal taste. My enchilada compared to my husband's chinichanga I got sauce he got it dry. Being Mexican not my cup of tea but the mild sauce I can see the American appeal, had to try it maybe something else was better. Maybe next year when I come back I'll try something else.

Mexican food for people who think pepper is “too spicy” weird that it closes at 7pm
By far the worst Mexican food I have ever had the staff was really nice but the food not worth the price
Good food and service. The seafood enchilada was very good. The HOT salsa wasn't so hot but had good flavor. ?
Vegetarian options: Had a couple good looking options.
Parking: Lots if open parking
Best pork tacos around and love the mexi rice. Don't forget the fried ice cream for dessert. It's amazing
Best Taco salad I've had I awhile. Salsa sampler, and 3 tacos. Yummy.
