Went here for the first time with my daughter, despite living nearby and driving by all the time. Will definitely be back! Great ice cream, great prices, huge selection and friendly people.
No matter the location, the Ice Cream Shoppe always delivers perfection. This is a 2 scoop Moose Tracks on waffle cone. 10/10. Oakland is great, Readfield is great and so are Farmington and Skowhegan!
This is a busy little shop along the shore of the Kennebeck River. There are picnic tables and a bench to enjoy the scenery, and in the early summer, the sturgeon leap out of the water.
Be prepared for a vast selection of flavors, some of which I had never heard of. You order from a window as there is no indoor seating. The service was fast. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had lots of questions. We enjoyed our ice cream very much and would visit again.
