Classic Provisions Rangeley, ME

We have loved the food here for as long as we have known it (around 5 years) and usually make sure to pick up a sandwich or homemade pastry while in Rangeley. However - SO EXCITED to discover this favorite haunt now offering weekend dinners!!! We booked as soon as we could and then went back with our friends because we were so impressed. We've had some good food in and around Rangeley but this was exceptional. The evening menu is limited and that means you can't go wrong - the chef's full attention is on every element and you know it. We savoured every bite, were too full for dessert but had to try it anyway... it's like the chef really needed this opportunity to showcase their talent - the daytime sandwiches are great, but the evening meals just fantastic.

I can’t even give a review. This is my second time to Rangeley since February when my son moved up here. I have yet to find this restaurant open. It is very disappointing when all I want is a cup of coffee considering no fast food, they should really rethink their hours.

5 stars; delicious sandwiches AND cute sunny friendly spot with affable service. Only suggestion would be that they create a kids' menu. I think they'd get more customers that way, too !

I'm a lifelong Mainer - my first time to Rangeley and I decided to visit here because of the menu. I got a simple grilled cheese sandwich and my friend got a turkey sub with Gruyere. The food was amazing! The customer service disappointed me to the point where I almost walked out, but instead waited for my sandwich and took it and left because I could no longer be in that energy. I visited on February 1st 2025 at noon time. The woman behind the counter had zero customer service skills
Granted, she may have had a particularly bad day, but she didn't need to bring it to the counter. She literally acted like we were an inconvenience to her, and I felt openly judged for my appearance by her scowl, just because I happen to like tye dyes and wool ponchos? I am not one to post negative reviews for anybody, but I've never been treated so poorly by a place where I choose to spend my money.

Five stars on food, one star on service and one star on atmosphere - only because of the energy that she brought to it. We took our sandwiches and left to eat peacefully in the car.

Cute breakfast and sandwich place. From other reviews we thought we might be able to get beer and other grocery items here but it's single cans and a few boutique items.

My family and I have been fans of Classic Provisions for a long time. We have several favorites: the breakfast burrito, chicken salad wrap and each and every pastry! I was sick over the holidays and was so grateful to have Classic Provision to rely on. Such care went into each tasty bite. All of the food was presented so beautifully. The directions for heating everything were perfect and what could have been a really mediocre Christmas ended up being yummy and more special than I could have pulled off on my own. I am so grateful for such a wonderful restaurant/cafe in our town. Delicious and full of care - Thank you!!

This is a small restaurant, with all home made food. Everything was delicious. They have baked goods too, so save room for those.

While visiting our son and his family, my husband bought 4 Molasses cookies on Friday, and then again on Sunday. They were delicious, and said they tasted just like his grandmother's. He wants to know if you do shipping? lol

Tasty offerings, our food was ready within 10 minutes of ordering it. Portions were good and folks attentive. Will certainly return.

Enjoyed a delicious bowl of bacon shrimp chowder on a cool ate summer day. Hit the spot just right.

The food here is fresh and delicious, but the service is terrible. The two young blonde girls working the front/register were so rude and seriously need some lessons in customer service. I’ve been in customer service since I was 14 so there’s no excuse. Their attitude was so bad that I actually might not continue going to this place. For the prices I expected better.
