Great to find this comfy place after a cool trip to Quill Hill. Friendly staff greeted us the moment we stepped through the door. The decor reflects the hunting and fishing Rangely is known for. We all liked our meals and happily ordered pie for dessert. Imagine our our surprise when the check arrived and we discovered each slice was a hefty $8.00!. Yes, it was good but not that good!

Great views and polite staff. The salmon was a bit overcooked for me and the butternut squash was lacking flavor. My husband really enjoyed his chicken marsala and my seasonal cocktail was fabulous.

Good food, good service, and a friendly atmosphere, with great views from almost every table. Prices are a little high, but most places are super expensive in this part of the state. Brought a friend here and overall we really enjoyed our experience. We were giving a friend who recently moved to the area a day tour of some beautiful local attractions and stopped by for a quick bite. All 3 of us ordered burgers, because some of the entrees were a bit steep, and unless I'm getting 2 lobsters worth of meat, I'll never pay $30 a lobster roll that I can make myself for about $9-10 a roll. The burgers were really good although slightly under done for what we all asked for, mine was a little bloody and I asked for medium well, but you could tell it was freshly ground daily and had excellent seasoning. The sweet potato and regular fries are delicious and hot! The strawberry shortcake was okay and done traditionally with a baked biscuit. The drinks were pretty bad, between us we ordered a White Russian, which was like a tall glass of cream, the next was a strawberry Margherita which was unbelievably small for $12!(tiny small, like 3 shots or Marg small!), and next the glass of wine was small, and tasted like a bottle that had been open too long. Our server was excellent, and we observed all the other servers doing a really great job. Lastly, the bathrooms were spotless, and to me, that's the best indicator of safe food, because if the bathroom is nasty, you know what the kitchen could be exposing to people. And not just the bathrooms, the entire restaurant was just extremely clean and fresh feeling! Would recommend to anyone and we'll probably be back!
