Rangeley Lakes Region European & Vegan Caterers

Lisa and jonathan catered our rehearsal dinner party in rangley last weekend. We wanted to do something fun and casual. Lisa helped create a fabulous taco bar menu. All the guests raved about the food! There was an incredible amount of fresh toppings to choose from. We had mango sorbet with fresh berries and whip cream for dessert. They were easy to work with and fit right in with our guests. They were part of the family by the end of the night!

Lisa and Jonathan catered several meals for our family reunion in Rangeley and everything was absolutely wonderful!! In addition to being a pleasure to work with, the meals were SO delicious, creative and loved by all. Huge kudos to Lisa and Jonathan. Can’t wait til next time!!

Lisa catered our wedding desserts with a beautiful and delicious cake as well as a variety of other treats and even coming up with vegan options for people as well! They delivered everything and set it up and decorated with my flowers- they were great!

I knew Lisa & Jonathan would be great caterers for our wedding rehearsal dinner. They did a splendid job offering a reasonably priced menu with superb options meeting the high expectations and taste preferences to both sides of the family, ages 18 to 81- German and Italian. I'm sorry I didn't take photos of the food but I was too busy enjoying it!

Lisa and Jonathan were wonderful! They catered our wedding and designed a creative and personal menu after listening to the types of foods we enjoyed and our ethnic backgrounds (Hungarian, Irish, French). Day of the big event, they had to navigate washed out roads to make it to our remote location, but they arrived and were super professional, helping put on a really lovely wedding. All of our guests commented on how good the food was. My only disappointment is knowing that if I ever want to eat their delicious food again, I’ll have to throw another party!

We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend! A 60th birthday party for 12 people on Mooselookmeguntic Lake. It was a challenge for Lisa as everything had to cross the lake in a boat. But once she settled in, put out some amazing food. The Raw Bar to start was a huge hit and the charcuterie board had something for everyone. We choose a Chilled Salmon with dill sauce for the entree and her famous German Potato salad. Dessert was a very creative Tiramisu which was our request. Clean up was amazingly fast with everything in its place. Again, we highly recommend Lisa and John.

Jon and Lisa saved my retreat! I needed a last minute caterer for a small group of 6 for 4 nights and they delivered! Literally, right to our place. Plated each meal, told funny stories, and shared their love of food and service. The passion, care, and attention to detail was next level. They met all of our diverse dietary needs and made unique dishes from around the world every night. Don't even get me started on the desserts!! Thank you Jon and Lisa!!!!

Big shout out to this crew specially to Lisa and Jonathan who catered my vow renewal up in Strong, Maine. I requested a mix of filipino, italian and american dishes and they nailed it to the highest quality. Lisa & John's food is divine! They are so skilled and accommodating to dietary needs and their food is SO delicious! They cook for my yoga retreats and my clients always leave raving about how good the food was! They are fantastic to work with and it is such a treat to eat the food they prepare!

Simply the best!!! Jonathan and Lisa not only prepare fantastic food, they are great to work with and will treat your guests as if they were their own family. The food, from the wonderful and unique appetizers, to the great tasting deserts will make you use them over and over. They have cooked for both my company and me personally dozens of times, and I have never been disappointed with a single thing. Great to work with, great food, and reasonable prices - what more could you ask for in a caterer.

Lisa and Jonathan at Rangeley Lakes Region Caterers were amazing to work with. They catered our wedding and the food was outstanding! My husband and I have very different pallets (I am a vegan and he is a very picky eater) and they did such a great job creating a perfect buffet for us. Everyone at our wedding commented on how delicious the food was and we could not agree more. They are such kind and warm people, making the entire process all the more enjoyable.

It is hard to be concise about what we love about RLR Caterers. It's easiest to just say "everything". If you have tried planning a wedding right now, especially in the northeast where leaf season has stretched resources, you will agree that responsiveness is rare and valued. Lisa and her husband recently catered a wedding in Rangeley MA. She was always present from the initial discussions through to "the day". Any requests we had we accommodated quickly and no details we left unattended. The food was phenomenal and many of the guests commented that it was nice to eat at a wedding that didn't serve traditional wedding food but was more like fine restaurant dining. As if the wedding wasn't enough, RLR agreed to cater the send off brunch the following morning for 70 people. Not an easy task only hours after the wedding reception. But they did it, happily and ended our wonderful wedding weekend with a phenomenal grab and go brunch. Don't look for any other caterer. If you are planning an event anywhere near Rangeley, contact them. You won't be disappointed!

These guys are AMAZING. They were way more than caterers. My husband is an awesome cook and wanted to prep some of the food for our wedding himself. Jonathan and Lisa were happy to work with us and were so flexible with our unusual requests! They came to the table with a lot of their own recipes as well and it just made our wedding day so special. They catered for about 120 people and everything went so smoothly. Beyond the food (which people are still raving about over a month later!) was the service they offered. They were checking in on us as the Bride and Groom the entire night, making sure we had everything we needed. Lisa even grabbed cocktails for us while we were having dinner! So above and beyond what we could have expected. Couldn't say enough about them! Highly recommended!!

Simply put, Lisa and Jonathan made my wedding food dreams come true. From the very beginning they were attentive to our tastes, preferences, and budget, and worked with us to create a menu to die for, without cutting corners. Indeed, two months later our guests are still commenting on the impressive quality, quantity, and variety of food at our wedding.As a vegetarian, I know how boring and uninspired wedding food can be. With a guest list of 100 people, many of whom were vegetarian, dairy-free, gluten-free, and with religious dietary restrictions, plus hunters and fishermen in the crowd, we knew we had a variety of palates to please. As world travellers, my husband and I wanted our guests to experience a culinary adventure: a variety of flavors and options not dependent on their entree selection made months before. We did not want people stuck at a table for hours for an orchestrated, three-course meal. Lisa and Jonathan made our vision come to fruition: our family and friends eating, drinking, and socializing through an extended cocktail hour with classy and hearty passed appetizers, followed by dinner stations with options for everyone and plenty of time and space to enjoy it all! They nailed it and we couldn't have been happier.Not only are Lisa and Jonathan talented chefs, they are true hospitality professionals. While I admit I was hesitant to work with a vendor with a minimal online presence on the typical wedding planning websites and social media, the end product was more personal, intimate and pleasing than anything I have experienced of larger event catering companies. I cannot wait for the next opportunity to work (and dine) with Lisa and Jonathan again and would highly recommend their catering services for other events.
