The Nest is my new favorite restaurant in Maine.

Taking into account the ambiance, view, and staff, it’s unbeatable.

My friends and I really enjoyed our visit to The Nest. The Bao Buns were so delicious I couldn’t let anyone else at the table take a bite, which is uncommon for me; I usually share. Mint Hot chocolate was also amazing after a half day of snowboarding.

I cannot wait to visit again. Truly one of the most memorable experiences I have after visiting Maine annually for over 25 years.

Went to the Nest for Sunday brunch and also the pub for dinner. The views and atmosphere are beautiful but it was the staff who made our experience great. Ruby and Dakota are excellent. Keep those two around, such pleasant and friendly servers!

Food was first class. Drinks were tasty. Staff was kind (Cody was our server and was really attentive to our family). Admittedly, we stopped in Thursday and Friday of NH ski week, so likely less busy than peak time. Prices were a little on the higher end, but you are overlooking the Rangley lakes at 3,500’ and, again, the food is worth it. So, you get what you pay for, and it is worth the treat.

Overpriced and overrated.
There’s no need for that ridiculous couch right behind the hostess stand. If you remove it, you could probably fit another 2-4 tables.
I didn’t know plywood shelves behind the bar were considered “fancy” by today’s standards, but the interior looks like it was put together at the last minute.
Save your money and time for the pub down at the base if you want a drink.
The Nest is trying too hard to look like a
knock off James Bond 1970’s Ski Scene.

I still love Saddleback and am happy to be back

A kind and enthusiastic team in an incredible setting. The attention to detail on each plate with an array of colors and flavors makes for another fantastic gem in the Rangeley area dining scene. Crab Cake benedict was otherworldly good.

One the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in 15+ years coming to the Rangeley area. Riding up on the ski lift is incredibly fun. The food and cocktail menus are some of the most eclectic I’ve seen, and the ambiance is incredible; unbelievable views while you dine or drink. Completely different than what I expected in the best possible way. Can’t wait to come back when they haven’t sold out of the French toast! Staff were friendly and incredibly personable. Wonderful experience start to finish!

Amazing food and atmosphere! I've never had a dining experience like this atop a mountain and everything on the menu was created with such thought and care that I found myself trying things I would normally pass on. The thought put into the design of the space was evident too with the bright yellow such a contrast to the view outside that it really highlighted it through the ginormous windows. We enjoyed ourselves so much we had to force ourselves to get up and keep skiing. Wonderful experience overall and we'll be stopping here every time we ski Saddleback.

The sliders were raw(menu says medium). We were promised to have them remade. Sat there for a while and they never came. So we asked for the bill so we could get back to skiing. The Bill still included the sliders which we never got. We asked to get that taken off which they did do. Disappointing considering the price point on the food.Coffee was bitter.Good things: pork handheld meat pie was good. Also waitress was nice.

Greeted by Sylvia and Chef CoCo we had one of the best dining experiences to date! You would not believe you are on top of the mountain as this is not your standard mountain food. We will absolutely be back for the food alone, but the skiing certainly helps.

Outstanding! Stopped for lunch with a group of 6 and collectively ate the entire menu. The food was incredible- never had cuisine like this on mountain before. Chef Colette is knocking it out of the park. My personal favorite was the gnocchi, but the entire menu is top notch. If you can get in you won’t be disappointed.

I mean this when I say this was the best food I’ve ever had on a mountain. If there is a line it’s worth waiting or hitting a few runs and coming back. No joke the pork hand pie was legitimately unforgettable. Drinks - 10/10. Go to The Nest if you are at Saddleback.

The perfect mountain dining experience does exist and it’s The Nest at Saddleback! You have to try the Gnocchi, I could have devoured the entire plate on my own. And the Tourtiere style hand pies were 10/10. If you are looking for great food, a wonderful atmosphere, and drinks with a view, this is the spot for you!
