Great place to watch the skiers. Wish the service was better, and the food prices are very high ($20 for 6 wings 😟). We’ll come back for something to do, but won’t order food.

The Pub at Saddleback is wonderful! It is a great place to grab a drink or a delicious meal. The word "pub" might imply that the food is junk bar food fare. That couldn't be farther from the truth! The chef has cultivated a delicious menu with high quality ingredients. There is elevated bar food, plus high quality entrees that you could order at a nice restaurant! The team that works the pub are wonderful people and they create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This is the best meal in Rangeley!
We love The Pub! My husband and I have eaten here a many times and we always have a great experience…love the food. The service is great too! We usually sit at the bar. Love their drink options and the atmosphere is amazing.
Booked here for a rehearsal dinner, it was last minute due to some complications and oh my god do I only have amazing things to say.
Erika was quick to respond and help us to book something in our price range and for the time frame and headcount we needed!
We stopped by for lunch the day before just to check out the space and she came right over to our table and introduced herself and gave us the rundown for the following night. Both Chef Coco and Sylvia also made it a point to stop by our table to introduce themselves and chat and we truly felt like local celebrities.
Chef Coco did a PHENOMENAL job, curating a menu for us and our guest as well as accommodating dietary restrictions while making something so delicious. Seriously everyone is still talking about the food.
Sylvia took fantastic care of our group of 36 excited and lively wedding party guests, taking care of our every need and helping us literally re-set the entire room just moments before our dinner started. She did everything with a smile and really made us feel so special and taken care of.
We had a great cozy area in the back that felt so intimate with an absolutely stunning view of the mountain and sunset.
The bar did a great job, drinks were quick to be made and tasted lovely.
I genuinely could not think of how else to describe this perfect evening.
The staff here is so incredibly professional and kind, while still being so fun and personable.
I highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun lunch spot or something more elevated!
Thank you Saddleback for such an unforgettable rehearsal dinner and experience.

Shocked at what a limited menu compared to last year. Pizzas not cooked on pizza oven; no significant salad choices.. no wonder the place was empty. Used to be a dining family destination.i guess if you loose a chef you loose the patrons. Say will not go back with family again. The times are always changing.
Vegetarian options: More salads. Options that can eliminate the beef

Come give Chef Coco and her staff a visit. The Pub at Saddleback has delicious food and drink selections for you to try. I am sure you will be impressed. Gorgeous views, a friendly staff, beautiful sunsets. Come see us.
Tried the chilie, should have been called "Cumin or Cardamom india chilie"-way to left feild.... otherwise a good burger platter & fare.

there isn't a single thing that's bad about the most favorite mountain in Maine! it's a must stop!
Best service I've had in ages. Jimmy is attentive, funny, and genuinely enjoys his craft. Menu is unique and everything was delicious. Atmosphere is the perfect ski lodge experience.MattyRetired GM Dos Locos Mexican Restaurant and CantinaKeystone Ski Resort, CO

I love saddleback and I love the atmosphere of the lodge but I just can’t give them a 5 star. The food was just not great.. it is super expensive and pretty poor quality. My burger was burnt and just not good. It’s unfortunate to say the least.

I was met by a hostess that gave me the choice of a table or the bar. Once seated at the bar it took a bartender twenty minutes to ask me if I wanted a drink. He claimed the pile of plastic cups at the end of the bar kind of hid me from sight. I asked him for a menu because I was hungry. He never returned. I was also confused on who was a bartender and who was a table waitress. They were all standing in a circle chatting and flirting and paying no attention to the customers. I felt alone in the pub. I felt very small and not important. No one bothered to say hello and how my day was. I had to ask for my tab to pay for the one beer I purchased. I’ve been a pass holder since the mountain reopened and I miss Sugarloaf’s Bag and Kettle where I got excellent service. None of these bartenders had any personality at all. First time I left zero tip.

I went to the pub for lunch. I ordered the club sub I think it was. So. Much. Food! But oh so good! Meals were in the $20 range but it's virtually 2 meals. My son loved the turkey sandwich as well. Stop in!

Chef CoCo and team absolutely kill it. Every single product out of the kitchen is a fusion of amazing flavor and variety. Best service, best view, and truly a hidden gem for all food lovers. Bonus is a ski mtn to look at!

When you have a team of current employees writing favorable reviews on google it boosts the rating! This place is actually 3 stars on a good day.No offense to the kitchen staff- they are under paid, inexperienced, and have to work in a kitchen that's tiny and poorly furnished- at a restaurant that seats 200+ people. The mountain, under current ownership, is only invested in selling real estate. As a result, every other aspect of the mountain and the community suffers as the area becomes more exploited. Sure, a few wealthy folks will benefit from the development, but the end result is the same: The mountain will be sold to a larger corporation. Probably by 2025-26.The irony is that the employees that work the hardest at Saddleback cannot afford to live in town due to the high cost of living in the rapidly gentrifying town of Rangeley. The demand for real estate ensures the prices will not be coming down and working people will continue to be priced out of the region. It doesn't matter how nice the view is- the food is average at best.
