This Lobster alfredo tortellini meal would not have been possible without Lobster from Shucks Maine Lobster.

This place needs to work on its internet presence because it's incredible. I got this shipped from across the country and I've never had better lobster and I'm from New England. I don't know what dark arts are involved in shucking the meat perfectly out of the shell raw but it let's you cook it like a normal protein instead of just boiling a lobster. It might not seem like much but it's a MASSIVE difference. It's tender and sweet and you don't have carcasses to dispose of. You'll always remember where you were the first time you've tried this lobster

I discovered Shucks Maine Lobster at my local Longs Drug freezer on Maui. Every now and then, Longs emails out a 40% off any one item coupon. Naturally, I look for something I like that's pricey so I can maximize it's use. As I was browsing the freezer section, my eyes locked on their twin pack of lobster tails. Ringing in at $20, they were the perfect item to redeem my coupon on. The box contains two tails, shrink-wrapped, with a total weight of 8 or 9 ounces so they're not that big. Simple directions offer three different cooking styles of grilled, baked and steamed. I did the baked version which came out great. I thawed the tails, snipped the tops lengthwise with scissors, separated the shell while keeping the meat inside, salted, buttered and baked them. OMG, they were absolutely delish! Firm, crunchy, fresh-tasting. I pan-fried a NY steak with a side of baked potato and was in heaven. And like their trademark "Easy-Shuck" slogan states, they popped out clean and easily from the shell. Why overpay for a lobster tail when you can easily make some at home for way less? Wild-caught too. Highly recommended!

One nasty place, people use to drop meat on the wet floor pick it back up a package it. Had lobster from Canada that removed bands from a sold as fresh Maine lobster. Great job Shucks. People as crooked as Clintons

I love the idea. Being landlocked, it's hard to find lobster that is worth the $$ and bother to get great tasting lobster

I can't tell you how wonderfully surprised we were at how tender and sweet the frozen lobster tails were. I buy the lobster meat often to make lobster rolls but this was our first time trying the tails and they were as good as any we've had cooked fresh
