My husband and I visited your restaurant last night for an early Valentines celebration. I had seen your ad on Facebook and wanted to give you a try. Rumford is not somewhere we usually visit but wanted to check you out in person. We were definitely not disappointed. The atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for. The service was amazing , We had Sara as our server. And the food was the best we’ve had in a very long time. I would highly recommend anyone try this restaurant.

HORRIBLE NEEDS MAJOR IMPROVEMENT, Food was absolutely horrible I was supposed to order fish tacos they didn't even have fish it was just coming off the truck so they said they couldn't cook it substituted chicken they put chicken with that nasty red sauerkraut stuff it was absolutely horrible those are the worst tacos I've ever eaten you can't even find decent Mexican food in the whole state of Maine somebody needs to teach these people how to make Mexican food here they don't...read full review
Food needs to be hot, some portions are small for the price, meat was super salty. Otherwise, might try again.

Brick & Stone Tavern offers phenomenal food in a comfortable, rustic, and industrial atmosphere. The service is friendly, attentive, fast, and amazing, creating a family feel. The kitchen staff clearly cares about quality, with everything well seasoned and cooked perfectly.
The menu includes excellent options like Haddock, steak, pasta, Steak Frites, sidewinders, chicken tenders, burgers, salad, and pizza. There are also vegetarian-friendly choices, with the ginger Brussel sprouts noted as awesome. A special meal of meatballs and pasta in a creamy vodka cheese sauce, followed by cinnamon cheesecake, was delicious. They cook their meat on the rare side. The craft beers from Maine pair perfectly with the meal, and drink pairings or tastings are recommended. It is a highly recommended spot in the River Valley area.
