A lot of the food like fries and apps are probably frozen and fried, but the burgers were great. The local atmosphere is fun with trivia night and corn hole tournaments. The prices are right!! We had a great time!

We were traveling from Bar Harbor to Stowe Vt. We settled in at our place for the night and then went to Gatch's for some dinner. I cannot say enough good things about this place. The service was amazing, the owner was absolutely wonderful and THE FOOD!!!! My husband and I both got burgers and they were the best burgers we'd had the whole trip! This place is literally your favorite local spot. We felt like family by the time we left and want to go back to Rumford just to eat at Gatch's and see our friends again!

Food was good, but not worth the price. I got 4 half slices of the stuffed jalapeños equaling only 2 for $8. I could go home and make triple that for that price. The bar tender was not pleasant to me. Also extremely rude to another paying customer. She waited on me once for my drink and once for my food. Then ignored me for the rest of my stay. My drink was empty for at least 20 minutes at this point I’m not ordering another drink because of the wait. And she informs everyone else the kitchen is closing in 5 minutes. She didn’t come back to me. I wanted to order take out. She cost this bar money by ignoring me this evening. I would’ve spent at least another $30 here. But her poor service denied that. Would never come back here again for food or drinks. Especially with this poor of service. At this point of writing this I have now waited 30 minutes to be seen. Who knows how much longer I’ll wait before she comes to me.

I DO NOT recommend this place, but fb doesnt give me the option to say that...i have a 3 strike rule and youre out thing. tonight was it for me, and I hope they improve from this review 1st time, it was a flood situation but made it "ok" 😆 2nd time I was sitting at the bar with my husband and a lady asked me if we were brothers, all I did was show my wedding ring and she was cool about it. BUT... THE women pictured on this profile wasn't. so tonight... we were sitting there and saw a man texting someone and that "lady came right out, looked at us and then went in the back room and texted him back. SHE knows I'm mentioning her without naming name, not into that... all I have to say is, if you're a gay man/couple... you want be welcomed here and my money spends better elsewhere! steer clear if you're gay! And their burgers suck! And, I'm a disabled Vet... and there's a drug house next door, be safe!

The food is great and the staff is wonderful. I've never had a complaint.This place brings some much needed life to the town with events like: Open Mic, Karaoke, Trivia, Cornhole, and Live Music by local talent.

Worst martini I ever had! It wasn't mixed right looked congealed! They tried I guess..I think if u just stick to basic here you'll be alright. Teenie Weenie apps were interesting...crunchy.. n maybe overcooked..I couldn't figure out if we liked em or not.. weird. Definitely interesting interaction between cook & bartender....just different vibe..

Ate here yesterday. Got the special. Tenderloin pepper sandwich. The woman who suggested it said it was "melt in your mouth delicious!" She was right. Only thing that'd make it tastier would be cheese and some additional seasoning. I got the "mother lecture" though for not finishing eating it all ?. Definitely be going back!
