So just two small things with the food. I would suggest using clarified butter for grilled cheese and if any one orders tomato on said sandwich cook tom on grill first. There is nothing worse than bitting into a grill cheese and getting cold tom in a hot sandwhich.

Super friendly, lovely experience every time we go. The food is delicious and fast. Never disappointed. Prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is like grandma's dining room, Bring you straight back to grandma's house and feed you upright.

George is a true gem. His joy for life is contagious! I enjoy his singing while he very proficiently waits on all tables. The cook in kitchen does a fabulous job as well. We look forward to dining here every fall and will miss him when he retires.

We found this lil spot while vacationing in Maine . And who doesn’t love a genuine home cooked meal ?… welll .., There were 4 of us and we all ordered . My daughter loves eggs benny which she ordered . When it arrived she didn’t like the strong taste of lemon in the hollandaise sauce. I mentioned to the waitress the issue and she would like something else , which was brought out by a tall flamboyant man who was the cook . He insinuated that my daughter must have only had package sauce and he never gets complaint . It was as tho he was scolding her in front of the whole restaurant . When we were leaving , he came out and followed us in the parking lot . I wish I had of said more . He’s a menace and had no customer courtesy . Not to mention he needs to grow up and clean his act up .

Very interesting place...
George is quite the character and owner/server
The food was amazing, so good as reasonable.
Small place so if you have towait for table it's very short and worth it.
Will go again.

Chef George is quite the entertainer as our breakfast was amazing. The diner only holds 25 people, but those lucky enough to enter are in for a real treat.
We had eggs Benedict, sausage gravy and biscuits, home-fries, and a triple berry pancake. All were excellent and highly recommended. Don’t let the massage sign out front scare you away. It’s an incredible experience with great food.

Could have done without the waiter talking very loud or singing the entire meal.

really read the reviews owner is rude verbally attacks customers, the place is a dingy dirty hole in the wall, plenty of other places to go that know how to act professionally and don't fly of the handle when you least expect it

Had a great lunch there today. Friendly service and I could not believe that chicken croquettes were on the menu.!! they were clearly homemade and they were amazing. Not 24 hours before had I posted on my Facebook that it had been 40 years and that I missed my mother making them for us and I could not find them anywhere. And lo and behold just a random stop at a nice diner I had never been to and I got to have a taste of my youth ! Will definitely be back the next time I’m in the area!

A great old fashioned country diner. SO MUCH FOOD! I had the Pile Up breakfast. Fantastic! I loved the salty old server and his singing along to the background music.
