really read the reviews owner is rude verbally attacks customers, the place is a dingy dirty hole in the wall, plenty of other places to go that know how to act professionally and don't fly of the handle when you least expect it

Had a great lunch there today. Friendly service and I could not believe that chicken croquettes were on the menu.!!
they were clearly homemade and they were amazing. Not 24 hours before had I posted on my Facebook that it had been 40 years and that I missed my mother making them for us and I could not find them anywhere. And lo and behold just a random stop at a nice diner I had never been to and I got to have a taste of my youth ! Will definitely be back the next time I’m in the area!

Met my son and family at the dinner for lunch. They were met at the door by a rude person who said he was not going to serve them. I didn’t bother going in after hearing this. Don’t recommend that anyone go into this dinner.

Brought my family here to eat breakfast. We asked for a table for 6. He wouldn't seat us because two in our party were still in the parking lot. Then a few seconds later he said, "Actually I'm not going to seat you at all." He pointed at my husband and said, "Because of you." My husband had said nothing other than ask for a table of 6. We have never been refused service before. We left without argument, but my young children were crying. Officially the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Possibly a racist owner who refuses service to people of color? I don't know but since there was no other reason not to seat us, I can only guess. I will never visit again.

Eating breakfast and watching a floor show by a theater caliber singer who is always smiling and has a GREAT sense of humor and likes serving people——you can’t find anything better than this. The food is amazing but it’s worth visiting the diner just to hear a man sing and is truly inspiring. He missed his calling, he should have been on Broadway!

Went to a last breakfast with my daughters before high school starts and the server/owner made the entire experience awkward & uncomfortable. Food was decent enough but every time he approached the table we felt like we were being scolded for something- including the fact that I wanted to pay with a credit card. It’s fine to be eccentric (1/2 shaven face, colored nails) but when you present to your customers as rude & abrasive, it makes the entire situation uncomfortable and honestly ruined our entire experience. Food was definitely not good enough to overcome this behavior as there are far better diners in the area. We definitely won’t be back!
