We just made a u turn after not having had anything to eat since 3pm yesterday,,,we saw AUTO MILE DINER along rt 1, just outside of South Portland,,, best STOPWE EVER MADE,,,, small 24 seat restaurant, owner George of 27 years waited on us I started with his own homemade Grilled Blueberry Muffin .. just like Jordan Marsh recipe ( he made the muffins) the hash browns were hand grated and fried extra crispy on the grill Best I ever had! Lots of homemade favorites reasonably priced...
My daughter's new favorite breakfast place. George is the best server ever! The whole breakfast was wonderful, the hash was home made and delicious. Thank you so much for such a good breakfast.
So just two small things with the food. I would suggest using clarified butter for grilled cheese and if any one orders tomato on said sandwich cook tom on grill first. There is nothing worse than bitting into a grill cheese and getting cold tom in a hot sandwhich.
