Blue Elephant Events and Catering

Blue elephant catered our wedding a couple of weeks ago, and the food was fantastic! We got lots of compliments from guests on the menu. All the seafood dishes were hits, especially since a lot of our guests were from out of state and don't get lobster much. Major shoutout to Toni for being so on top of my husband and I, not being intrusive but making sure we got enough to eat at every opportunity. We appreciate you Toni!

My now husband and I used blue elephant to cater our wedding and to say that are amazing is an understatement. We had Fausto as our wedding planner, too, and he was absolutely wonderful. I have no doubt in my mind the night would not have gone as smoothly as it did without him and his fantastic staff. The food was delicious and the servers were on top of everything. While they may be up there in price, you are certainly paying for what you get. I cannot express how wonderful our wedding was and (not that I ever plan to be married again) would choose them again in a heartbeat. 6 out of 5 stars. Highly, highly recommend them.

We utilized Blue Elephant for both planning and catering for our wedding and absolutely recommend them for both.

Planning: Fausto met with me a year before our wedding and and walked me through the venue we'd selected and gave me a ton of information and magazines with recommended vendors. There wasn't a ton of communication between the initial planning and the lead up to the wedding, but I am a very type A person and had done most everything on my own so didn't necessarily need that level of checking in. I did have a small crisis with a vendor 2 months before the wedding, so I called Fausto's office administrator Jennifer and she and Fausto had it solved within hours. The day of the wedding, Fausto was incredible. This man is truly a force to be reckoned with. Every single vendor kept saying "oh you're in great hands" and we definitely were. He totally saw my vision and not only made it come to life but also helped to trouble shoot some issues day of. I knew if anything went wrong with weather or vendors, Fausto would solve it without my even knowing. Everything went so smoothly and was truly incredible.

Catering: We chose not to participate in the tasting for several reasons: there were only group tastings offered, the dates were very limited, and it was quite expensive. If you're local, it may be worth it, but we just couldn't make it work. Honestly, it really didn't matter in the end as Fausto helped us navigate their extensive menu to find what worked for us. I (the bride) have some dietary allergies and they were able to alter a bunch of menu items to accommodate not only my allergies, but also our guests.

Blue elephant catered our daughters wedding and the rehearsal dinner. The food was absolutely amazing friends and family haven’t stopped reaching out to us, letting us know how impressed they were with the variety of the food, the friendliness of the staff and their overall experience. There are not enough stars to give blue elephant, the rating they deserve.

We used Blue Elephant as our caterer and also had Fausto on our team as our planner for our wedding in May 2024. From top to bottom we could not have asked for a better team. On the catering side, the food was out of this world! The cocktail hour is the first thing people experience at the reception and Blue Elephant absolutely hit a home run on first impressions. Not only did we have a ton of hors d’oeuvres to choose from, they also let us taste a lot of them when we did our food tasting. As soon as we got to the reception we were taken to a room to relax while guests mingled, and Fausto had the chef bring us drinks and a sampling of all the passed apps as well as items from our display boards. The food for the entrees was equally as amazing, and one thing we really appreciated is that the chef came over to us and told us she wouldn’t remove our plates unless she knew we were done eating. You get so distracted in conversation that you keep forgetting to sneak in bites of dinner, but our table was set until we were done eating which was amazing. Towards the end of the party we had asked Blue Elephant to do a late night snack, and so they brought out home made pizza and everyone was loving it.
On the planning side we were equally as grateful. The two of us do not live in Maine so we knew we needed to have someone to help us with all the on the ground logistics. Blue Elephant’s price to add on a planner was beyond reasonable considering all Fausto did for us. Throughout the whole process he listened to us and gave us exactly as much input as we wanted at any time. We didn’t necessarily need help with the big picture of our wedding and Fausto never over stepped exactly the amount of involvement we wanted. Their relationship with our rental companies came in clutch more than a few times. Once we got to the actual reception Fausto was anticipating all of our needs. His eye for the design of the whole reception was spot on to what we envisioned. Any time we needed something he was there before we had to ask, and everything went off without a hitch. Each section of the wedding was meticulously planned and flawless. At the end of the night he gave us the gifts and cards he had collected and he had even numbered all the cards to help us keep track.
If we had to do it all again we wouldn’t change one thing about what Blue Elephant and Fausto did for us. Our whole night was beyond perfect thanks to the incredible team we put together, all anchored by Blue Elephant.

Terrific people to deal with!

We had a company holiday party January 13th 2024. Blue elephant went above and beyond our needs, the staff is amazing! Our contact was Fausto, whatever we asked of him was honored. Food was delicious, the crew helped with all set up and all breakdown. Being on the committee to arrange the party, this is the first time I actually enjoyed myself, fully, at a company function.Thank you so much to all of you that helped make this party the most memorable! Brick South at Thompson's point was the perfect spot!

He kept the day running so smoothly - if there were any hiccups we don’t know about them! He and his team completely took care of us, my husband and I even had a dedicated team member, Toni (shoutout Toni!!) to make sure we always had something to drink and eat. Blue Elephant catered our wedding back in July. Everything from the cocktail hour food, to the meals were DELICIOUS. You need to make sure you sign up for the tasting as well, we changed our entire menu around. The tasting was an experience itself (the amount of food was incredible).Fausto was absolutely incredible. This man knows his stuff and went above and beyond for us; I truly can't thank him enough! If you need a wedding planner or recommendations anything wedding, related he is your man.

Words can’t describe how happy I am, from the moment we met Fausto our minds were at ease. This man and his team are true professionals and top notch! The man thinks of things that you don’t, and at the end of the day exceeds any expectation you may have had. I highly recommend them for any event! My husband and I used Blue Elephant for our catering and event planning in October, 2022. The food was absolutely amazing and we still have guests raving about their meals from the wedding. They offered a wide variety of apps and entrees so it was easy to make sure all dietary needs were met.Our wedding planner went above and beyond the weekend of our wedding to make everything feel as smooth and stress free as possible. Everyone was very professional and helped make our wedding weekend so enjoyable.

We could not be more pleased with the catering experience Blue Elephant provided for our recent fall wedding. We did the cocktail menu selection, and our guests were very impressed with the variety and quality of the options provided. Fausto is a pro at what he does and makes perfection look effortless. Blue Elephant just catered our wedding of 180 and I'm certain that every single guest walked away commenting on how awesome the food was. They allowed us to easily have a very diverse menu that kept everyone happy. The passed apps were creative, fun and delicious. The charcuterie board was the talk of the night. The staff were incredibly friendly and easy to work with. You simply cannot beat their level of service, quality and quantity of food for the price.

We chose Blue Elephant Catering for our wedding and couldn't be happier. The food was absolutely delicious and we received so many compliments from our guests as well....several saying it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. Fausto and his staff were unbelievable. As the bride and groom we had the friendliest lady taking such good, attentive care of only us. We had a plated meal and all 100+ guests were served nearly at the same time. The food was cooked perfectly. Late night tater tots were passed around to the crowd and were a huge hit!
