I haven’t been to this restaurant yet—just had take out. I had ordered a Reuben. I didn’t know that they don’t have EITHER pumpernickel OR rye. The only offer was sourdough, focaccia, and ciabatta bread. Their reuben does not have the satisfying crunch, the buttery toast, or the fennel taste on this sandwich. This completely missed its mark. I would still visit here, though, as I’m sure there are other offerings that do pass with flying colors.

Stopped in for brunch at The Social Kitchen in Saco and was seriously impressed. The atmosphere is cozy but modern, great energy without feeling too busy and the staff was welcoming from the moment we walked in.
The food is absolutely phenomenal. Every dish we tried was made with care and packed with flavor. Whether you’re into classic comfort brunch or something with a creative twist, they’ve got you covered. The portions were generous, everything came out hot and fresh, and you could tell ingredients were high quality.
Service was friendly and attentive, even with a steady crowd coming through. It’s clearly a local favorite, and now I can see why. If you’re in the Saco area and love a great brunch, The Social Kitchen is a must. Can’t wait to come back!

We were visiting from Texas and are so happy we gave this place a try! The breakfast sandwich was one of the best I've had, bagel was light and crispy, SO good! We loved everything we ordered. Lady working at the front was very sweet and patient with us. Would highly recommend! Matcha and Chai were also delicious.

I would like to begin by saying I wish that I could rate this place 5 stars as the food is genuinely very good and the front line interactions with customer service are phenomenal. However I cannot because of the way the approach allergens. I have a severe tree nut allergy (which is pretty common) so I assumed a sandwich shop would not have tree nuts unless on the bread or listed elsewhere. When I went I ordered a turkey apple Swiss sandwich on sourdough, nothing out of the ordinary and nothing that would make you assume there is tree nuts on this sandwich. However shortly after eating there I had to rush home to take medicine as my throat had begun to close and my stomach was churning. I immediately called social house where I found out that walnuts had been ground up (smoothly in a way that was unrecognizable when eating it) and put in the sauce on the sandwich. There was NO indication anywhere on the menu stating that tree nuts were in this sauce on the sandwich. When I recalled to discuss this with a manger I was sent to voicemail where I left a message asking to speak to a manger and have yet to hear back. While the food was good I unfortunately will not be able to return to social kitchen due to their lack of care in stating allergens and hiding allergens in unsuspecting food. Please do better because the next time someone may not be as lucky as I was.
Terrific find!

Social House Kitchen is hands-down one of our favorite local stops! From the croissant sandwiches to the teas, energy drinks, and the unforgettable blueberry cheese danish—it’s simply the best.
Whether we’re grabbing a quick bite on the go or fueling up before a busy day, everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The vibe is warm and welcoming, and the staff always makes you feel right at home.
As a small business ourselves, we love supporting other passionate local spots—and Social House Kitchen absolutely delivers.

I visited for the first time today. The space is modern, comfy, and VERY clean. The service is friendly and personable, and judging from the products (Lone Pine, Vena's, etc), it is clear that they embrace and support the local community. I ordered the Cubano sandwich - absolutely scrumptious. This is definitely going to be my new regular lunch spot.

This is the best spot for a delicious breakfast sandwich and perfect cup of coffee. I love the indoor/outdoor seating choices and the chill atmosphere. We love bringing family here when they’re in town and it never disappoints!
