I absolutely love this Swedish spot. The staff are genuinely some of the friendliest people, and the baked goods are always creative, beautiful, and rotating — I have the hardest time choosing (even though I usually end up getting half the menu anyway).

You can really feel how much time, care, and detail goes into everything they make. It’s also tiny and adorable, which just adds to the charm.

I went for the first time today! Not only are the seating options super cute but they staff are so warm and friendly. I spilled my tea everywhere (totally my fault) and they were quick to make me a new one. I had a breakfast sandwich that was delicious and aesthetically pleasing. The London fog is dreamy.

People throw around 5 star reviews these days like it ain’t no thing and I get it, anything less than a 5 is a fail in this modern world but Fika deserves the 5/5. Biscuit sandwich: biscuit is the perfect flavor and texture, rich but not claggy. The toast is sweet savory and just the right amount of salty with textures that come together delightfully, nothing falls apart when you eat it either. Gorgeous food. Great latte too.

I absolutely love this place! The food is very good and authentic made with so much love. It takes a lot to be creative and bake everything Homemade. Everyone there is so nice and the vibe with the music is very welcoming. Thanks for giving our area a taste of your home!

This is the true gem of Saco/Biddeford. How did Saco get so lucky to have this incredible place?! The BEST pastries you’ll ever have, the breakfast sando is incredible, and the yogurt & ‘nola is always so fresh and tasty. You can’t go wrong with a stop here - ever. And the staff are so, so incredibly kind.

Delicious pastries! We always stop here when we visit Maine. I always look forward to the cardamom knot and the focaccia of the day (honorable mention of the seasonal tomato focaccia). We also have tried several other delicious pastries here. Staff is always friendly! Highly recommend.

Such a great little bakery in the Saco / Biddeford area. People were extremely friendly and the pastries are were great. It is a little pricey, but you are getting some nice artisanal treats.

The best Scandinavian pastries I’ve ever had. And I’ve had a lot! The kardamumbuller, kanelbuller, pear cake, fennel sausage hand pie were soooooo good that we literally turned around and went back again.

Fika is a hidden Swedish gem in Saco, Maine! We ordered a cappuccino, iced latte, the Kanelbullar and Kardemummabullar pastries. The Kardemummabullar is so fresh and delish with a hint of cardamom. The Kanelbullar was also just as good and fresh! We got there on the earlier side since there was a line by the time we left. The coffee was really great and a perfect pairing with the pastries. We sat outside at the picnic table with our puppy and it was a nice spot for a quick fika.

Fika was such a delight! The kaffe latte and matcha latte were delicious - honestly the best coffee I've had in a while! But the real stars of the show were the baked goods!

We also ordered the breakfast sandwich (without meat), Norwegian toast, cardamom bun, focaccia (shishito peppers and sweet corn), and a marzipan pear cake.

The breakfast sando was so good - the biscuit was just the right size so it wasn't dry, and the spread they put on it is so tasty. The Norwegian toast was just the right balance of sweetness. The focaccia was so stinking good! The perfect height and texture with the perfect hit of flaky salt on top.

And the main reason we trekked 50 minutes first thing in the morning? The cardamom buns. We were so excited to find a place making them, and they did NOT disappoint! The cardamom flavor sang, and the texture was perfection. I'm the past we tried making them ourselves, and they were nothing next to these. We even half joked about how we'd pay $100 and sign an NDA for the recipe. They are that good.

Yes, we had a little wait. And we got there early so luckily they still had everything we wanted to try. I can understand how long waits and sold out items can be frustrating. But I honestly think it's all worth it. Give them a try. It's probably a good thing we're 50min away, or we'd likely be here every weekend.

Thank you for a beautiful fika!
