My husband and I always cook at home, and I usually hate getting takeout—but we were in a bind last night while on vacation and had no choice. I’m so glad we did, because this place was incredible. The food was so good I honestly almost cried. It was beautifully made, absolutely delicious, and my whole family loved every bite.

This is the first time stopping here and it was amazing. A lovely woman thanked us all for patience as there was a line. She took the time to prosy point out and explain why each offering was. It smelled delicious in there and the music was bumpin’. I had ribs that were perfectly smoked, and the meat fell off the bone. This was accompanied by some rice and beans, cornbread, plantains, and a vegetable mix. I can’t remember exactly what she called it. I’ll certainly return. It was clean inside.

Tried Jamaican food for the first time today, and Go See TYCE BBQ, LLC blew me away!

The flavor, the portions, the hospitality — 10/10. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!
Normally, I love Jamaican food. And while the food is very good here, it’s not worth $50. Because of the price I won’t be returning. $50 for jerk, chicken and some Candied yams is absolutely Ludacris.
I don’t usually bother to write reviews but this deserves an extraordinary one. We had enjoyed excellent Jamaican food decades ago in Connecticut but none since moving to Maine. So after reading a rave review in a Portland newspaper we headed straight there and ordered for takeout a wide variety of patties, curry, jerk, and sides. Everything was terrific, the best we’d ever had and the chef/owner Tyce Reid delightful to chat with. We will be regulars without a doubt. Bravo!

Absolutely delicious! I can't wait to go back! I had the curry chicken, my husband had the jerk chicken. They serve big portions, and everything was fresh and tasted as good as it looked! We immediately felt welcomed by the owner and chef!
