Ms Mabel is a true staple in the community, a pillar of timeless wisdom and community support. Her food is a great fraction of who she is as a person, she is a strong advocate for great cuisine, it is truly the ultimate dining experience. 10 out of 10.
My husband and I always cook at home, and I usually hate getting takeout—but we were in a bind last night while on vacation and had no choice. I’m so glad we did, because this place was incredible. The food was so good I honestly almost cried. It was beautifully made, absolutely delicious, and my whole family loved every bite.
This is the first time stopping here and it was amazing. A lovely woman thanked us all for patience as there was a line. She took the time to prosy point out and explain why each offering was. It smelled delicious in there and the music was bumpin’. I had ribs that were perfectly smoked, and the meat fell off the bone. This was accompanied by some rice and beans, cornbread, plantains, and a vegetable mix. I can’t remember exactly what she called it. I’ll certainly return....
