Nice cozy and quiet place with good tables.
I have not tried their sushi, but it's probably good too.
Their deserts are also nice, especially for the low price.

Great food and friendly service. Atmosphere is lacking (no background music or noise) which makes dining in a little uncomfortable, the seats are close to each other and another customer in the restaurant made fun of me for taking photos of my food…I’ll get take out next time— but it is a clean and sterile-looking space. We loved our sushi, salad, & ramen. I got the spicy miso ramen and the broth really gets absorbed by the noodles— had to get extra broth. My partner got the chicken ramen and had plenty of broth left over. Will pass on the mochi next time, had some plastic in it and looked a little squished.

Came here for dinner, and I’m glad I picked it. The atmosphere is relaxed, and welcoming. The service was awesome, good pace. The food was delicious. The interior decor is amazing, we didn’t wait long for our food. Everything about our experience was great, we’d come here again.

Having previously tried Michelin star ramen in Tokyo, I can confirm this place is the real deal. The Jin Ramen has delicious broth and noodles, and was definitely the best I've had so far in Maine. Sushi was similarly high quality. Ambience could use a little work (lights somewhat too bright) but service was good and it's more than worth it for the food. Highly recommended.

Went on a whim while a friend was visiting, a few weeks ago. It's a small, intimate, but comfortable location; the staff (and patrons) were very friendly, the food was delicious and arrived quickly, and the prices are competitive for the area...I'll definitely be going back sooner than later!

We’ve been taking out and dining in at Jin for years, and are never disappointed. We especially like the Korean fried chicken, the dumplings, the ramen, and really any of the rolls. Friendly service, too! We’ve also been around, and have found few sushi restaurants at this price that match the flavor and quality of Jin.

Was just driving around and didn't look the place up. While being short staffed and preferring customers call ahead they still took our orders to go. Very nice people, foods fantastic. Would recommend.

For those of you who follow me know I always give an honest review. We eat Japanese A LOT.
The folks were extremely kind and polite, but it took over an hour and a half for my order. The dinner area was clean but empty at 6pm on a Friday which for me is a red flag, but hey.
I'll start with the chicken teriyaki because I order that a lot in NY and I've never had it with corn, zucchini and bean sprouts. Maybe it's their twist, but I would expect something like that in a pad Thai.
We ordered about 12 pieces of salmon sushi. The salmon looked slimy but overall edible. The salmon avocado rolls looked ok.
I think we need to stick with foods Maine is famous for in the future. I'm always open to recommendations.

Years ago, a friend and I stopped in for some ramen, and we back then we were not disappointed. This time around, we got that same meal, and we were again blown away by the taste.

Local spot with good ramen. We ordered the Salmon Lover Dinner Combo, advertised as three items: spicy salmon, salmon sushi, and chef's choice. Disappointed to see the "chef's choice" was a single piece of shrimp. Didn't feel like good value for $22 when we could have gotten the other two components for around $8 each, meaning the shrimp was like $6? For one shrimp? We brought this up to the server, who didn't really say or offer anything. Atmosphere needs some help, floors are always sticky, stains on the ceiling, just kind of a dirty vibe overall. Again, the ramen is very good, and if that's what you are looking for you will be pleased.

I've been getting sushi here since they opened. I Can't recommend it enough. The food is great, the staff is nice, and the owner really knows what he is doing. The specialty rolls, Korean fried chicken, Ramen, and other sushi are fantastic.
