Well MY experience wasn't quite the same as the other diners'. Yes, it's very much a â€œmom and popsâ€. For two people, I had a fish sandwich and fries and he had a small shrimp basket and it was $30!!!!!! Why did I just pay $14 for a sandwich and fries?????? The shrimp were TINY- like something you would get at a chain restaurant in the Midwest- NOT a coastal â€œseafood restaurantâ€. The â€œseafoodâ€ menu was horribly small.

This place was very unassuming and very good. It was the first time in years I couldn't eat all the food on my plate and I tried and tried. I love seafood anyway and while in town, it was recommended to me and I'm glad it was.

I will start by saying I usually dont like seafood. Skippers has changed my mind! Best haddock I have ever tried! Amazing fried pickles. Their Cole slaw is the best I have had between orlando Florida and caribou maine. Husband and wife owners make you feel welcomed. I recommend skippers for the seafood fans as well as someone who isn't.
